Chapter 13

AJ's POV

The roller coaster started moving and my hand was in Lukes. This is the largest roller coaster in the park and there are really big ones. I don't know why I came on this, I guess it was to get Luke out of my mind, but, now I am next to him, in very close proximity, and I'm holding his hand. We were going up.

"AJ, what happened after school?" Luke asked suddenly. I didn't really know how to take it.

"Um. I just got caught up with something while waiting for Thea, don't worry about it" I replied. He looked at me with worry.

"AJ, seriously, what happened?" Luke asked again but this time making full eye contact. (See chapter 11)

"I, well. I was. I-I." I stuttered. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "I was waiting for Thea and decided to wait for her in the washroom. Then Angi-" I was cut off by the sound of ticking. Sooner or later we started to drop and I laughed. Luke tightened his grip on my hand and I looked at him. "Not scared, are you?" I asked with a smirk.

"No I'm not" he said.

"Then what are you?" I asked.

"I-" he was cut off by us slamming into eachother at a sharp turn. We were so close. But not too close. We turned again and Luke was basically leaning on me, our lips almost touching, he was having a struggle moving back. But did he want to? Sooner or later after having to make awkward eye contact, the ride came to an end, I took my hand out of his, I completely forgot about the contact. Luke came out of the cart behind me and I slipped up. I almost fell but Luke caught me.

"You okay?" Luke asked me and I nodded. He let go of my arm and back, he then let me go infront of him.

"Oh my god, Nicola, you have mascara all over your eyes!" Thea exclaimed. Who the hell is Nicola?

"Let's go to the bathroom" said Rose.

"Thea, look at yourself!" I exclaimed.

"Same to you" Thea replied.

"Damn, let's take a picture and post it on intsagram!" Said the girl, Nicole, Nicola, whatever her name was. She was very pretty. Her pretty long dirty blonde hair was in a pony tail and her green eyes were lined with very smudged mascara. She was wearing something sporty and had many freckles on her face.

We took the picture and she start typing. I was tagged in a photo instagram and opened the notification.

"'Skunk squad' really?" I asked with a little giggle. We 4 girls were walking to the bathroom, I got a very bad nostalgic feeling.

"HEY FATASS!" someone yelled and I knew exactly who it was.

"Angie I don't have time" I replied and Thea looked over at her.

"Awwww. With your 'friends' I see. Where is Luke?" She asked and snickered.

"Luke is-" I was cut off.

"Look Angie. Go fuck off already! We are AJ's REAL friends and we care about her, unlike you. Luke is okay and you leave now, barbie." It was Thea and she came close to Angie and whispered loud enough for us to hear. "And if you make fun of my friend again, then you will find yourself in the garbage."

If looks could kill, Thea would've been subjected to murder 975248902588964311580 times.

After we got ourselves cleaned up we headed out of the bathroom and made our way to the feris wheel. Thea and Calum wanted to go on so we did. The seats were by 2. So Thea went with Calum. Micheal went with Rose. Ashton was with Nicola, and I was stuck with Luke. We got seated on the ride and started moving. We stopped then started and that continued. When we were near the top of the feris wheel the feris wheel came to a sudden stop and since we were just sitting down I went flying forward. Luke grabbed my waist and helt tight. I flipped over and I was almost hanging out of the cart. Luke was holding me very tight and I was hoping he wouldn't let go. He lifted me back into the cart.

"Are you okay?" He asked me and I just looked at him. "C'mere" he said and engulfed me into a hug.

"AJ, are you okay!?" Thea yelled from infront of us.

"Ugh, ye-yeah" I replied and she looked back at me.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"I honestly don't really know" I replied

"Okay" she said and turned back around.

I was still in Lukes arms and I rested my head on his chest. His arms tightened around my body. My eyes slowly started to close, but that was until I heard a camera click, but I ignored it.

I woke up with a beanie on my head that I didn't have on before, I was in a tight embrace. The sky was dark meaning we were still outside on the feris wheel. But we were at the very peak of it. I looked up at Luke who was holding me and he was awake.

"Hey" he said with a little rasp. I guess he just woke up before I did.

"Hi" I replied quietly, he stared at me with admiration then quickly snapped out if it.

"You fell asleep on me and I thought you would get cold" he said quickly and I smiled and I put a hand on his chest.

"Thank you" I replied and he smiled.

"It's been like 2 hours" he said and I looked at him with shock.

"How long do you think it's gonna take?" I asked him

"Uh, I don't know but I hope this doesn't end" he said and he immediately blushed. "I'm sorry, I didn't meam to say-" he groaned and looked at the view.

"Luke" I said.

"What?" He asked very quiet while turning his head toward me. I grabbed the back of his head and put my lips on his. He was very shocked and his mouth was left a little open before he grabbed my head with one hand and put the other on my back and kissed back. Our lips were moving in sync and by each passing second it got harsher. I slowly moved my lips from his and we stared into eachothers eyes. A blush creeped onto my face and his blush deepened. His eyes flickered from my eyes to my lips then back to my eyes and I smiled with a little laugh. We were leaning in again and our lips were touching when we jerked forward. Or to the side since we were facing eachother.

When we started moving we were going down back to the ground though I felt sky rocketed. We got off and made our way to Calum's car.

"Hey, AJ, that was cute" Thea whispered to me and I laughed pretty loud.

"I could say the same with you and Calum" I replied and her mouth dropped.

We got into Calum's car and I sat next to Luke. It was really dark and I was tired so I leaned my head on Lukes shoulder and closed my eyes. I didn't fall asleep before I felt Lukes warm and reassuring arms wrapped around me and he leaned his head on mine.
