I'm going to dedicate this story to every single one of my classmates!!!! (at least the ones with wattpad accounts) yaay!! (wtf?) please don't mind the words in the parentheses, that's my stupitity speaking.

Hi again :D this is the third chapter xD it's in Chris' POV, and yes, this will be in the three protagonist's POV xD PLEASE COMMENT!!!!!!!

“What do you mean, they didn’t make it?” I blurted out, more out of surprise. I saw Lilac shoot me a look, and I saw that she, too, was confused.

Mr. Kells cleared his throat again and spoke in a soft voice, like he was mourning. “Listen, the people out there are going crazy. When Kammer sent out the three buses, they were intended to get to the safe zone that the government established in the city. Bus number one carried the Kindergarteners and the faculty, Bus number two carried the elementary children and Bus Number three carried the middle school students. Only Bus number two and three made it to the safe zone, the first bus being the one to receive the full force of the attack, and only Bus number three made it, back, despite the military support it had.”

“What?” Lie yelled out. “Attack? Military support? What exactly is happening out there?”

“Yes. Attack,” Mr. Kells answered, “That bus full of kindergarten students and other people was attacked by people. Dead people.”

Several gasps came from the class.

“Dead people?” I asked, and surprised was an understatement. “What the hell is this, zombieland?”

“Yes. But this is no joke, Chris,” Mr. Kells answered, his face serious as hell and his voice on the verge of breaking, “Somehow people have gone crazy and the dead are coming back to life… People are eating people and the government... and—and the military and… a—oh God, I don’t even know anymore. All I know is that the freshman class have boarded bus number three, and right now they’re being carried to the safe zone. Several soldiers are with them to make sure they stay safe. They said that they are doing everything they can to keep things in control, and all we have to do is wait. Now get up—the bus will be returning for us any minute now, we have to get to the gate.”

Everyone started getting up and filing out the classroom. Some were crying. Some were obviously shocked. A lot were on their phone, trying to contact others. I was too stunned to even think of how to react. When I got to the door, Lilac and Jerri were there waiting for me.

Confusion was written all over their faces.

“So…” I began, “I guess you won, Lie?”

It took a while for her to answer, and I saw that she looked like she was about to cry. “I don’t know. Would it be considered winning? How the hell did that happen? How many…”

“How many people are dead?” Jerri continued for her. He had his pokerface on. Like he always does. He almost never shows any other expression than his “Whatever it is you’re going to tell me, I don’t care” face—that’s what you get when your parents are like ours. Both Jerri and I don’t even know how Lilac managed to stay happy without her parents.
