I quickly assessed myself in the mirror then gave myself an encouraging nod. My long mosey brown hair was tied into a high ponytail and was surprisingly looking very slick. Ayesha's bikini fitted perfectly, though the pastel pink wasn't the colour, it did highlight my tan which I thought was non existent.

I neatly folded my Adidas top and placed it on rest of my clothes. But I was interrupted by some loud footsteps. I quickly looked up at the mirror in front of me to see who was behind me. A tall figure emerged from the shadows. Vincent.

My heart began to beat faster. I don't know about you but I find Vincent extremely intimidating and I did not want to find myself in an empty room with him, yet It was happening. His long wet black hair stuck to his forehead partly covering his eyes making him look more menacing.

The silence hadn't broke so I pretended to neaten up my clothes before I swiftly exited the room. However I wasn't that lucky. On my route out he grabbed my arm tightly and our eyes met.

"Er hi?" I whispered as if it's a question, I needed to break the silence.

"Are you really Jakes friend." I watched his lip ring shine in the light whilst he spoke, nearly distracting me from the question.

"Um, we're not like best mates or anything, the only reason I'm here is because I lost a bet." I chuckled. I did not get the respond I wanted as his face stayed senseless. "But I guess I'd call him a friend." I ended more seriously trying not to get on his bad side. Vincent just nodded his head once slowly.

"What about you, you don't look like a match made in heaven" I joked, even laughing at myself nervously.

"Ha funny," He said obviously not amused. "We are best friends, where are you to judge" He replied, still with very little emotion but his eyes were trying to evaluate what kinda person I was.

"You don't look like best friends, like you're so different." I stated bluntly. Yes this guy is scary AF but doesn't mean I should feel intimidated like come on if you look at it one way, he's just another guy in my year.

But he chuckled back  which made me feel freaking uncomfortable. "What?" I whispered self consciously. I looked up to meet his brown eyes which were glimmering in amusement.

"It's just you don't look like you'd be friends with him. You know so little about him but you find it strange someone like me would be friends with him."  He finished and wow that was a good point.

"Sorry, I guess I stereotyped both you guys." I confessed.

He just nodded slowly and we were met with a long and awkward pause.

"What were your first impressions of Jake." Vincent interrogated me.

"Well... Uh." I stumbled, I did not want to be in this guys bad books.

"Be honest and trust me I won't judge." Vincent opened up and the look in his eyes allowed me to warm up to him.

Well If he said he wouldn't judge, maybe this is the perfect time to roast Jake....

"Well I guess I thought he was a player, maybe even a man slut, who was selfish in a way and overly confident errrrr I don't know, what's even the point in this?" I glanced up at Vincent who just stared at me blankly.

"I just want to know if my friend has changed in anyway." Vincent said slowly.

"has he?" I asked curiously.

"He's changed a lot since 4 years ago, but he's still the same guy from 2 years ago." He replied.

"And what's that supposed to mean?" I pushed on.

"Ah Ah," he tutted, "I'm doing the questioning.

I shook my head, "I never agreed to this."

"Fine let us make a deal." he rolled his eyes at my stubbornness. "You will answer my questions and I'll gibe you a fact about your new Prince Charming." He chuckled.

I glared at his little comment but excepted the terms. "Deal but I get to ask you the questions about Jake." I held out my hand for him to shake. He looked at my hand as if it was poison.

"Deal, but I'm not 50 so I wont be shaking your hand." I put my hand down and shrugged it off.

"My first question is has he been playing football." He spoke. I raised my eyebrows at his strange question but replied.

"Yes and no, He has been playing small games with my friends but not a proper match." I spoke confidently and watched him nod his head. "Okay my go... ummmmm.... staying on this football topic why doesn't he like playing with a football team."

Vincent inhaled a deep breath. "It's a bit of a touchy topic but I'll tell you this the game reminds him of someones who was very important but he can longer see." Vincent finished.

"Yo I didn't know your answers were gonna be this vague or I wouldn't have asked." I joked but he didn't find it funny at all.

"If you are so interested why don't you ask him yourself." He smirked. "Okay my question again, has he had any drink around you, I mean alcoholic." He defined.

I thought back to the party but I can merely remember what happened, however looking back at the night I don't remember any drunken talk from him well except his bi-polar-ness. "Not to my memory no, but he has been to a party." I finished. I watched Vincent's eyes glue to the ground as If he was trying to work something out. "Okay my question," I announced. "Is Vincent allowed to drink like alcohol."

"No, he is under aged." He replied,

"Well no sh**, I mean't why does he have to stay away from alcohol." I changed my question.

"One question at a time Missy. Okay my go." I smirked at me again. "Does he flirt with everyone or just you."

My face reddened for a second but I tried to cover it up by answering his question really quickly. "No it's not just me. Now my question answered please."

"He should stay away from alcohol. Alcoholics run in his family and it ruined his football career." He said quickly. The sentence came out of no where and was followed by a dead silence.  I had nothing but everything to ask him. "End of game, we best enjoy Libby's pool." He left the room leaving me in silence.
