My legs were sore the next morning, I was barely able to get up . After giving myself up to Trey, he didn't let me sleep on his bed and kick me out nicely. I texted him over and over but there were no replies just reads. Tears were burning my eyes the whole time I mourned over what I did. My mom knocked on my door and I sniffed wiping my eyes.
"Amara me and your pa needs to talk to you,"
"Okay," I told them with fake happiness in my voice. My mother couldn't know what I did she would be so disappointed and it would break her heart. My dad on my other hand would hate me forever.
"You've been off lately," Pa said as his hand landed on my shoulder. I couldn't look him in the eye as I thought of how I changed so dramatically just cause I low key wanted to fit in with my peers and have someone love me. My fears came alive. Suddenly my head started spinning and I felt sick. I pushed passed my parents and rushed to the bathroom.
"Baby, are you okay? You're staying home today and we have to take you to the hospital and-" I cut my moms rambling off and gently pushed pass her.
"I'll be fine and I have to get to school I have a huge test that's worth like half of my grade," My eyes close lazily and my head started to spin.
"Amara Bonnie Naveen, something is seriously wrong you with you!"My mother stomped her foot on the ground and glared at me. I bit my lip and slowly sat down, my father calmed her down as I sniffed.
"Stay home today and later we can get you checked, okay?" My father said and I nodded slowly beginning to fall asleep.
I was alone in the house and haven't got up to eat or even shower. My mind was on the bridge of exploding, I was thinking too much about my actions last night. Sure, it was pleasurable but nevertheless, I went too far. It was around the time where the school would be ending and Trey still hadn't text me back. My friends didn't text me at all and that really did make me realize how bad I really treated them for last few weeks.
Herald P.O.V
I entered my car a lil heated cause I was extremely tired from last night but I decided to come to school today so I could see Amara but she wasn't here. Shit, maybe she was sick or something happened. I looked down at my phone and she had answered some messages that I sent to her a few days ago. I threw my phone beside me after telling her I'm coming over and hit my steering wheel - trying to tell the idiots to hurry up. They were trying to get some girls number and honestly I was going to leave their asses behind.
"Aye man take me home," Max ordered me.
I couldn't help to mug them and press up on my brakes, making them fly up and give me a look.
"I ain't your damn chaffier," I said with a serious face but was low key dying inside. They look like they wanted to put a bullet in my head. I shrugged and sped off driving them off befoe driving to get something for Amara. I haven't seen her in a while and I couldn't just come in empty handed.
Once I got in front of her house, I breathe in and knocked on her door. I looked around patiently, maybe the flowers were too much with a quick motion I threw it in the garden in front of the house. The door opened and I smiled as her face came into view.
"Hey, baby-"
"What are you doing here," She sighed and wiped her eyes. I stared at her and looked her up and down. She seemed so different, like some type of other person took over the Amara I knew before this.
"I was just visiting you because you weren't at school today so I was worried,"
She made an irritating sound, "Well now you see me and I'm fine now please leave,"
"You don't look fine," I urged and stepped up slightly touching her forehead. She was burning up, the look she gave me made me take a step back.
"Leave me the fuck up alone!"
Ight I've dealt with her bull crap for a while now she is taking it a little too far. What the hell was going on with her?
"Amara what the heck is wrong with you? All week, all I have tried to do is to hang out with the girl I caught something strong with. What happened to the girl that I met that night?" She glared at me and glared back.
"That girl is gone and just cause you caught your stupid ass feelings doesn't mean that I ever felt the same! Now-" She didn't get to finish.
"What? All this time you never felt anything about me?" She gasped sarcastically.
"What no, that's not what I mean, I did feel something, I honestly couldn't stand your little happy self!" She admitted to me. My jaw clenched and I breathe heavily, my shoulders heaving up and down. "Now leave me alone," She slammed the door, I turned around and my eyes landed on the flowers I was about to give to her.
I paid 10 dollars for that...
