I walked into the school and walked straight to my locker. My friends stood there mugging the hell out of me. I rolled my eyes and opened my locker.
"Aye, I know you see us here! You been so damn distant and we worried for you?" Nessa said. I sighed and continued doing what I was doing.
"Are you okay? Something happen?" Tallissa asked.
"Nothing,"
"Okay, can we go to the mall after school?" They pleaded and I cursed them out under my breath.
"Fine," I slammed my locker door and pushed passed them to class. They tripping suddenly and that shit irritating.
~~~
"Hey sexy," Trey wrapped his arms around me and I giggled. I liked the feeling he gave me."Hey," I smiled up at him, forgetting all about him standing me up yesterday.
"You still coming, to the party tonight?" He licked his lip and I nodded.
"Wear sumthing nice, kay?" I nodded and he smirked before letting me go and walking away. I bit my lip and walked to the bathroom. I walked in and the familiar faces of the red bone and her friend came into view. I stopped for a sec before just walking right up to the mirror and ignoring them.
After a few seconds of silent, the redbone caught my eye and gave me a smile?
"Yes?" I raised my eyebrows in questions. Did this bitch just smile at me?
"Hey, Amara we heard you and Trey were about to hit his party together?" She asked suddenly while smiling at me. I turned to her slowly nodded. "Well, girl me and a few friends was about to hit the mall for clothes and we wanted you to come?" I smiled back a little.
"Ion know-" I started as I remember me saying I would go to the ice cream shop with Nessa and them.
"Girl it's funna be fun, everyone funna be there and even Trey!" She smiled and flicked her wrist. Her friend smiled and I smiled at them in agreeance. I told my friends I would come but not with them.
"Alright, I guess," They nodded and laughed. They actually seemed nice, my bad for judging them.
"Well come to the front after school and we'll give you a ride," I nodded and finish fixing my hair.
"Oh and I love your hair yass girl!" Her friends suddenly touched my hair and I stood there like an idiot.
"Thanks, I guess," They nodded and checked me out.
"But maybe instead of braids you should get weave and wear a little more makeup? You'll look so good!" The redbone voiced in a persistent way.
"Alright, I guess I can try that out," The other girl smiled and walked towards me.
"Here let me put some on for you," I didn't even get to nod before they attacked my face. I looked up and shit I looked so different.
"Damn Gurl!" I laughed at them as they said it at the same time.
"Alright, we got some extra clothes," The redbone pushed some shorts in my face and a shirt.
These shorts looked way too short to even be real. Half my ass would be out.
"Look I like what I'm wearing..." I looked down at my jeans and shirt.
"Alright then, I guess your clothes cute but lose the shirt and add rips to the back of those jeans and then yass," I looked at her stupidly, why the hell would I want the back of my jeans cut?
"Okay..." I trailed off, I didn't know their names.
"Ebony!" The redbone smiled and I nodded my head.
"Bon short for Bonqwasha," I nodded and we exited the bathroom together like we've been best friends for life. Talking and laughing, I ignore my friends as we walked through the hallways but couldn't help but notice the looks on their faces.
Ion know why they giving me that look.
"Gurl don't worry about them, they fake as fuck, they just hattin, I mean you don't see all they attention we gettin!" Ebony flicked her wrist and I laughed. She was damn right and I liked the new attention.
