Cassandra's POV

When I heard that my fiance was killed, I wasn't surprised. He didn't exactly have the best reputation in the world. He used to be a drug dealer, then he got caught. I had never thought that someone as handsome and kind as Bradley would ever be a drug dealer, alcoholic, and the son of a bitch who's now on an autopsy table in NCIS right in front of me.

Tony was giving me a look. Like he felt bad for me. Or he could be wondering how I'm keeping my composure in front of my dead fiance.

"Tony, when you have a job like mine, you learn fast that everyone that's close with you can be killed at any moment. I've had so many people die in my 27 years of living in this cruel world. I know a thing or two about not being surprised when people close to me have died. So stop looking at me like I'm a killer." Tony was completely blown away by my words. I guess I read his mind.

"Can you tell us anything about Lieutenant Bradley that we should know about?" Said Gibbs who was beside me.

"Many people liked him and many people hated him. He wouldn't let anyone tell him what to do. He was a good and honest man. But I know Jane didn't like him. She always said that because of his awful past he wasn't trustworthy. That I could do better than him." I sighed.

"Well I'm sorry for your loss." Tony said, finally coming to his senses after my talk with him.

"Don't say 'sorry' Tony. It's a sign of weakness."

"You're so much like Gibbs, it's unbelievable."

"Well I can tell you one thing Dinozzo, I am more like him than you think." Tony frowned and I laughed.

"Enjoying being on land Cassandra?" Said Ziva who appeared next to Tony.

"Yeah, sort of. I just wish that I was hear on better conditions. Also the fact that my best friend is suspected in my dead fiance's murder just sends the best 'welcome home' vibe I've ever felt." I said, pissed.

"Well, welcome home Commander Gibbs!"
