Cassandra's POV

My whole body was numb. I felt nothing. I was thankful for that though, I didn't want to feel right now. After the goons were done with me, they dragged me out of my cell into another room. Now I lay here, limp and abused.

I looked over my body and flinch at what I see. I didn't look like myself anymore. My thighs were covered in dry blood. My whole body was covered in hand-shaped bruises. This wasn't me, not at all. I wasn't weak. I never gave in or gave up. My stubbornness made sure of that. What am I doing?! The real me would never lay on this floor and feel bad for myself. The real me would get up and break that fucking door down.

With my new found reason, I crawl over to the door and, with all my strength, pull myself up by the door knob. My legs are wobbly and sore as I stand up. I look at the door and jiggle the knob. Locked.

"Fuck," I say in a scratchy voice.

I knew that I couldn't break the door down in the condition that is was in. Sighing, I slowly turn around so I'm facing the room to look for something to pick the lock with. The only thing in the room was a small chair and a lamp that was in the corner. I try to walk over to the chair when my legs give out from under me. I land on my side, my hip and shoulder making harsh contact with the floor. I hear my elbow pop and my back crack all the way up to my neck. I couldn't do anything now but wait now. I at least tried to escape.

I sigh, again, as I lay on the floor, curled into fetal position.

Where are you Tony? Where the fuck are you?

Tony's POV

Gibbs and I make our way to the back entrance while Ziva and Tim distract the men inside the bar. We were finally able to get clearance from Jenny to come get Cassandra. Gibbs busts down the back door, his gun drawn. He moves in slowly, checking his surroundings while I follow.

"You go find her, I'll look for Letchworth," Gibbs says in a whisper.

I nod and we split up; he goes left, I go right. I go down the halls and look in every room.

I go down a few halls before I find one that's locked. I jiggle the handle but it won't budge. Then, I hear a noise from inside the room. It sounded like bones popping but I couldn't hear it well enough to make sure.

I aim my gun toward the door knob and shoot it. I push the door open and am greeted with a bloody, bruised body on the floor.

"Cassandra?" I say cautiously.

The figure turns their head towards me, slowly, and I see the woman that I loved.

"Tony," she rasps out.

I put my gun in it's holster as I approach her battered body. Gently, I kneel down next to her and cup her cheek. Her eyes that were once filled with fire, now were shattered like glass.

"What did they do to you?"

"Everything you think they did."

"I'm going to kill them, all of them!" I say through my teeth.

"Not if I get their first."

She grips my shoulder with a shaky hand and brings herself into a sitting position.

"We should be getting out of here. Get you cleaned up and back to the hospital."

Taking her hand that's on my shoulder, I bring it around the back of my neck. I put one arm around her back and the other under her knees as I stand up. She snakes her other arm up my chest and stops at my neck.

"Does that mean that you're going to take care of me again?" she says, tiredly.

I smirk, thinking of something dirty I could say to fluster her. Before I could say it, I stop myself. Right now wasn't a good time to say things like that.

"I'll always take care of you. I can't keep you from danger but I can sure as Hell be there for you when you get hurt," I smile down to her.

We make our way to the front of the bar where Gibbs, Ziva, and Tim are. Gibbs is looking at the man with the Sicilian accent who's now being handcuffed along with all the other goons. He looks in our direction when he hears the door open and runs over to us. He comes to a stop when he reaches us and looks down at Cassandra.

Looking at her father, she smiles weakly. She moves her arms from around my neck and reaches out to him. I let her go and support he while she stands. Gibbs brings her in a gentle embarrass and smiles.

I look away when I see an ambulance outside the bar load a red haired woman into the back of it. That must be our lieutenant. I see a women looking at her as the doors close. Her features were familiar. I swear I had seen someone that looked like her before. Then, it clicks.

Cassandra's mother, Lynn Harris, was right outside that door.
