Wrong Note

The bell rings telling us the day was finally over. We all packed up our stuff and slowly left the class. Not one word was broken. I tried to hurry up with my stuff as I can feel the teacher eyes on me. I look up at her and she smiles and I smiled back getting up and walking towards the door. I need to get out, I feel like she would jump me. I held my open book bag to my chest.

as I was about to walk out the door someone running in the room bumped into me making everything fall out my bag. I fell back and hit my arm with the desk. I let out a little yelp and grabbed my elbow, rubbing it and blowing on it.

" oh my god, I'm so sorry " a male voice says and I look up to meet eyes with Grayson. I didn't mean to give him a pout but my arm was really hurting.

"Its okay" i said looking at my arm and he comes closer to me and grabbed my arm. "Ow" I said and he stops and looks at me.

"I'm sorry " he says and takes a look at my arm.

"Are you done white?" I heard Sia voice then a gasp as she looks at me. She bend down and started to pick up my stuff. While Grayson moves my arm around so it won't cramp up.

"You should put ice on it once you get home" he says getting up and helping me up. I nodded grabbing my elbow and walking out the class room with Sia following behind.

"How did that happen?" She asked as we walked out the double door in the front.

"I was walking out and he ran in the class and bam" I said and she nods as she unlocked her car. The school was still full of students as they start to pack up the busses.

Sia dropped me off at home and took off down the road. I grabbed my bag and swing it over my shoulder as I walked up to my front door. With a sigh I unlock the door and walked in closing it behind me. The smell of pecan pie took over my nose and I throw my bag to the side and walked to the kitchen. My mom just took out the pie from the oven. She turns around and smiled

"Hey sweetie" she says and I walk over to her and gave her a kiss on the cheeks before sitting at the island table.

"What's today?" I asked as she places three pies in front of me and started to put wipe cream on them.

"Family dinner " she simply said and I nodded as I heard the front door open and shut. Justin showed up at the kitchen door with a tired looking face. Me and my mom looked at each other and laugh "how was school?" Mom asked and he shakes his head no before walking in and sitting next to me.

"I don't even wanna talk about it" he says and slouches on the seat and I laugh.

"Everything alright though?" I asked and he looks at me and shrugged. "What happened?" I asked and he sigh and sat up straight.

"My first class three girls came up to me saying they are dating me and they all started arguing" he says and I raise an eyebrow and so did my mom. He shakes his head and unbuttoned his sleeves before rolling them up to his elbows

"Do they even know?" I asked and he looks at me and shake his head no

"Nope" he says and runs a hand through his black hair. I shake my head and looked at mom.

Finally I get to introduce myself. My name Alison white. Daughter of Maria and Danny white. I'm about 5'3 my hair is a red orange color (not natural color though) and its up to my mid back and I have brown eyes. Im 17 years old turning 18 in March. My father Danny died when I was only two years old and my mom got remarried when I was about 13 to a guy named Erik who is a single father. He has a son name Justin who is gay. He came out to us when I turned 16 and he turned 18.  My mother accepted him the way he was and so did I. It took his father three days to accept his son gay. But we all tend to love each other better then ever.  I have two best friends named sia and Emma. Knew them since I was in Fourth grade. School wise, I'm a straight A student with a GPA of 4.0... I'm in the 12th grade and seriously crushing on Ethan Dolan but I told myself I wouldn't fall for a guy especially like him. Don't get me wrong both twins are great people but I've never spoken to them just Grayson today. That's because I fell if not I won't have talk to him.

School first. The little voice in my head keeps saying and I sigh and put my head down.

"What wrong?" Justin asked and I shake my head

"Nothing" I said looking at him and he nods and continue to talk to my mom. I excuse myself from them and went upstairs to my room to start my English project

Once I was done with the project I set it aside so it can dry off as I went to the other work i had to do. I shortly got interrupted by a knock at the door. I got up from the floor and walked to the door opening it.

"Food ready" Justin says looking at his phone and I nodded closing the door behind me as we both walked downstairs.

"Where dad ?" I asked mom as she sit a plate in front of me and just in que the front door opens..

"I'm home" dad says and we all laugh. " smells good" he says coming in the kitchen and kissing my mom head then hugging me and Justin.

"It always does" Justin says and I nodded as I took a bite from the chicken.
