" anyways, if you really like her then you should just ask her to homecoming " I told Ethan as we sat in the living room floor. We been talking and practicing how he would ask out Mia. But we'll end up laughing.

"You think? " he says bringing on knee to his chest

"Yes, how bad can it be? I mean I know she'll say yes" I said running a hand through my hair. He looks at me with a raised eyebrow.

"How can you be so sure she'll say yes?" He says and I brought my knees to my chest and shrugged.

" I know Mia and how she is " I said and played with the pattern of the floor. Mia was my best friend before and I new a little about her but she was dating James on the low key while I was dating him.

"What's she like?" He asked and I shake my head

"You find that out on your own pretty boy" I said and my eyes widen after a couple seconds "I mean Ethan" I hid my face with my hands and put my head down. He chuckled and pats my knee, I look up and he smiles at me.

"Its alright my best friend calls me that too" he says and I nodded.

"But yea, just ask her out to homecoming on Tuesday before buying the tickets" I said as the front door opens and my mom comes in with Justin.

"Alright I'll do that, but listen I gotta go Grayson blowing up my phone" he says and I laugh and nodded.

"Tell him I said thanks about today" I said and he nods as he gets up from the floor and puts a hand out

"Sure will" he says and I laugh and took his hand as he helped me up. I took my hand out of his once I was up and looked away. " bye" he says patting my back and walking out the door. I waved before the door closed. Justin came out the kitchen and lean on the wall looking at me. I smiled at him and he gave me a small smile.

"You did not just gave advice to your crush to ask another girl to homecoming" he says and I bit my nails and looked down before looking at him.

"I know stupid" I said with a sigh and sat on the couch.

"No no" he says coming to me and sitting Down next to me placing a hand on my shoulder " it was extremely stupid " he says and I swat his arm as he laughs.

"I know " I said with a pout and he rubbed my back.

"Well I'm expecting your going as well right?" He says and I shake my head no

"I'm always home remember" I said looking at him and he runs a hand through his hair

"Yea but its your last year so your going, with a date or not" he says and i went to protest but he put a finger up " no buts we going dress shopping tomorrow " he says getting up and walking away. I sigh and lay back on the couch.

( next day)

It  was currently Saturday and it was 8:30 in the freaking morning. Yes 8:30am. Why am I up at this time? Justin is the answer. Dragging me out of bed on the morning just to get to the mall before it gets all packed. I hate waking up at this time on a weekend. A nerd gotta get her sleep. My outfit was some black sweatpants and a Harvard university white sweater and some black and white convers. My hair was in a messy bun and I did not mind putting on makeup this morning. I mean it's the mall and early. Who do I have to impress?

Emma places her head on my shoulder as she slowly falling asleep. I put mines on top of hers as I also falling asleep, as my brother and sia are picking out dresses.

"Girls!" I heard my brother yell and me and Emma jump to our feet. I rubbed my face before looking at him" look alive" he says and looks behind us with a smile. I gave him a tired look and turned around to see what he's looking at. Ethan and Grayson had came in the store with I believe their sister. Both of them in black sweatpants and white t-shirts. I yawn before it took me a couple minutes to actually process what I'm seeing. My eyes widen when Ethan looked our way. I dropped to the floor and crawled to the seats. Emma did the same and sat next to me with her knees to her chest.

"Wanna make a run for it?" I asked her and she looked at me

"You have a broken arm" she says and I shrugged

"I'll make it, I believe" I said and she shakes her head.

"Oh hey Ethan and Grayson" sia says and Emma and I was on the move to the entrance. " I was joking you two" sia calls after us but we already made it out by the time she was going to say something else. We both got up from the floor and dust us off before walking.

"Alison?" Shit. I stop walking and turned around with a smile.

"Oh hey" I said and walked over to him as we hugged. Ah, that was an amazing hug. Pull yourself together Alison.

"I seen you in the store are you dress shopping for homecoming?" He asked and I bit my lip and nodded

"Yea my brother wouldn't take no for an answer" I said and he chuckled.

"I bet if I was your brothers I'll do the same but as a friend I'll do the same" boom friend zone. Geez care to rub another friend zone sentence?. I just laugh and shake my head.

"But other then me why you in there?" I asked him and crossed my arm across my chest.

"My sister has this event at her college and since me and Grayson was up she needed guys say on how she looks" he says and I nodded. Emma came next to me with a soda and some chips. I looked at her and raised an eyebrows

"What, you was talking and I was hungry, at least I got you something" she says before looking at Ethan and giving him a smile.

"Anyways this is my best friend emma , Emma this is Ethan" I said and they both shake hands.

"Nice meeting you but hey I gotta get back to my sister and gray. I'll see you around ali?" He says and I nodded with a smile.

"Yea sure" I said and he smile

"Alright cool" he says before walking off and back in the store.

"God he's so fine even when he doesn't try" Emma says and eats a chip. I look at her and she looks at me " but I get it he's yours I like Grayson " she says and I raise an eyebrow.

"Oh then let me tell him" I said and walked off but she grabbed my arm and turned me around as we walked away from the shop.

"I swear to god Alison you tell Grayson and I'll break your other arm" geez.

"Alright damn"
