Wrong Note

I closed my locker door before putting my notebook in my bag and grabbing my coffee from Sia hand. She was focus on her phone like always. I started to walk away and she followed behind. I took a sip from my coffee before speaking.

"Isn't your class that way"I said pointing the other way and she looks up and nods before turning around and waving at me. I smiled and keep walking it my class room. Sia can forget that we don't have the same first class period anymore. But also I blame the phone that distract her. I chuckled to myself as I enter the class room. This time I wasn't the first person here. Ethan was here talking to the teacher and some girl that seats in front of my chair.

"Morning" the teacher tells me and I raised my coffee as a response and sat down taking my notebook and pen out and writing down the notes.

"Do you have to drink coffee in the morning?" The blonde girl asked Turing around to look at me. I stop writing and look up at her. Her blue eyes glued to my brown ones.

"Yes, now does that bother you?" I asked and she rolled her eyes and mumbled something I quite didn't get. I rolled my eyes and took another sip and keep writing my notes before the late bell ringed.

Once I was done the bell ringed and I look up as Ethan laugh at what the teacher said before Turing around his eyes glued to the floor as he took his seat. He ran a hand through his hair before looking at the board.

"Good morning class, I hope this morning was lovely" the teacher was to kind and the class fit him will. I say this could be his best class but I can be wrong. " does anyone have any trouble with the project? " the teacher asked and everyone said no. He nodded and walked back to his desk.

The class went by as we all started to work non of us distracted from anything. But the girl in front of me keeps clicking her pen and its getting pretty annoying. I sigh leaning forward and tapping her shoulder. She turned around and I smiled

"Yea,hi can you stop clicking your pen?" I asked and she rolled her eyes and stops. I let out a breath of relief but than she started popping her gum. I rubbed my temple and let my face falls to my arms.

Class is almost over and I hope I have the guts to tell Mia that I liked her ever since 9th grade. Wait don't tell her that. She wasn't the girl I liked since ninths grade. Ugh. Why is talking to girls hard for me. Mainly the ones I like?. I look up at the time and class was about to end in a minute. I started to pack my things and sat up as the bell ringed. Mia passes by me and I walked behind her.

"Hey Mia" I said and she turned around and smiled

"Hey, its Ethan right?" She say and i nodded.

"How you been?" I asked her and she shrugged looking at her nails before running a hand through her blonde hair.

"I've been alright how about you?" She asked looking at me and I also shrugged.

"I've been there" I said and she Nods. I look at the floor before looking back at her but she was already gone. Fuck... Nice one Ethan.  I shake my head and continue walking to my next class which was math. Now I'm not going to have the guts to tell her if she disappear that fast.

"Hey Ethan" I look up once I enter the class and seen Taylor. I smiled and walked up to her. She got up from her chair and hugged me as I hugged her back.

"Hey where have you been yesterday?" I asked her and she shrugged putting her feet on the desk.

" with my girl" she simple said and I nodded sitting in the desk in front of her.
Taylor is my lesbian best friend. I've known her since we were in 8th grade. She can read me like a book and I can do the same. "So have you talked to Mia?" She asked leaning forward and I lean back as the teacher started talking.

"Nope but I have her first period, I think I'll just do the note thing" I said and she grabs my shoulder and shook them

"Your cheesy but cute Dolan" she says and I chuckled.

I sat down at the lunch table with the tray of school lunch in front of me. I was never a fan of school lunches only when I'm supper hungry. But today I only got a ham sandwiches so I think I'll eat it. I took a bit and looked up to see Sia and Emma on their phones.

"God what has to be so interesting that you guys are on the phone so much?" I asked and they both look up from their phone and chuckled.

"We're trying to get tickets to see the neighborhood " Emma says and I raise and eyebrow.

"Any luck?" I asked and they both shake there head no as they go back on their phone. I shake my head and took another bit of my sandwich.

"I got the tickets !!" I girl yelled from the middle of the cafeteria

"Damnit !" Emma yells and slammed her hand on the table "I wanted them " she says with a pout on her face

"Next time it's only august" I said and she nodded getting up and throwing her lunch away.

"Are you done?"she asked me and I nodded. Every time she's upset about something she feels like cleaning. Which made me laugh still after almost 7 years?

" anyways did you guys know that Mia back at school? " Sia asked and I nodded my head.

"Yes she sits in front of me first period and its so annoying" I said and Emma groans

"I don't like that hoe" she simple said making Sia spit her chocolate milk out and I jump from my seat before it can land on my white pants.

"Emma" sia says and swats her arm

"What I don't" Emma says and I laugh.
