Harry’s POV
Jet Lag sucks! Even though I followed my normal routine of keeping well hydrated and trying to catch as much sleep on the flight that I could, my body still couldn’t adjust as quickly as normal. So, here I am lying in bed wide awake at 3:00 am. My mind is racing at 100 km per hour over everything that has happened and it just won’t calm down and let me fall back asleep.
The only reason that I was not up and moving about, was the fact that Lou’s warm body was snuggled up to my right side. His arm was draped across my waist and his nose was nuzzled into the crook of my neck. I could feel his gentle puffs of breath caressing my neck. Luckily it was more soothing and reassuring than ticklish.
It felt wonderful to finally have some private time during our first day in this new location. Our only excursion out of suite of rooms, I guess that is what you could call it, was to raid the fridge when we finally needed some nourishment. I remember our scramble to find something simple and comfy to wear, so we could follow Lexi’s house rules of no streaking in our birthday suits. As we made our way downstairs, Lou in his Spiderman print PJ bottoms and me in my sweat pants, I once again cooed at the kitchen area. I noticed that there was a note on the front of the fridge and being curious I read it, “Knowing the age of this crew and guessing the activities you were most likely engaged in, I assumed that the fridge would be raided sometime after I have finally crashed. So, I made some dishes that you could easily microwave. Each container is labeled, so enjoy! Just remember to clean up after yourself! – Lexi”
Both, Lou and I looked at each other and opened the door and took out the containers to read the labels. White Rice, Spicy Orange Beef and Broccoli, Chicken Curry, and Penne Pasta with a choice a Meat spaghetti sauce or an Alfredo sauce.
“I think I have died and gone to heaven, Hazza. Or maybe this is the prelude to our Hell, as I know that we will have to get Jarvis in here soon or the weight is going to keep adding up. Unless of course we can keep up the aerobic activities of the past few hours for the majority of our time here,” Lou said with an upturned corner of his mouth while gazing at me.
“Are you saying that I didn’t satisfy your every need in the past few hours Luv?” I commented while casually leaning my hip up against the island countertop. “Oh, you did Hazza! Never doubt that my love,” he whispered gently into my ear as he leaned in and gently nibbled on the skin right below it. I drew him into my embrace and after a few moments, I gently remind him that, “If you do want a repeat performance then you need to fuel this sexy beast; so that he can make you squirm, groan and scream in ecstasy.” Then, I tickled his sides and groped at his curvy bottom to get my point across, which earned me a slight squeal and a reply of, “Promises, promises, Hazza. So what do you want and where are the plates and utensils?”
So, I began opening cabinets to look for plates and glasses, while Lou looked through the draws for the utensils and a few serving spoons. Once we had located what we needed, I made myself a bowl of white rice topped with the Spice Orange Beef and Broccoli wile Lou made himself a plate of the Penne Pasta with the Meat spaghetti sauce. We both decided to grab a glass of ice water, and we washed the serving spoons, wiped down the counter and put the containers away while our meals were heating in the microwave. The beep, beep, beep and the aroma wafting out of the microwave door was a heavenly sound and smell.
I grabbed a potholder, so I could hold my bowl without burning my fingers, while Lou grabbed a dishtowel to place his plate on to move it to the island countertop in front of two of the stools along its edge. “Hazza, only you would be able to find chopsticks to eat your meal with. Even after all of our trips to Asia, I still haven’t mastered that skill yet. Though you have gotten a lot better than that snippet that was filmed while we were on X-Factor, remember you through a hissy fit when you didn’t win?”
