The Main Man - Seventeen DK

Caught Awkwardly

We spend the next hour explaining to Aria the events of the past 24hrs, detailing how I went to their concert but got photographed with DK during a part of the concert as well as with Astro and then the fact that we've been hitting news because 'seventeen spotted with mystery girl' and how we finally told the company about our relationship until eventually we reach the part about being photographed outside of the restaurant.

"That is one impressive story" she says, stuffing her mouth full of noodles.

"Anyway, how are things with you?" I ask her, after all I don't think she's made an appearance in my life over the past 48hrs.

"Ah, well. Jungkook and I has officially ended, not that it ever officially begun. We've both decided that we just want to be friends, nothing else." I glance at Jun a couple of seats down and see him perk up at the news only to deflate once again as she continues. "However, Chanyeol's asked me to go out with him tomorrow night so I'm meeting him for dinner at a restaurant after his practice has finished." She explains.

"Nice, I'm glad that you and Jungkook have sorted out whatever you were. You'll be close as friends and Chanyeol seems genuine but just remember that all boys are just crazy hormonal wrecks" I joke.

"Hey, that's not fair. What about me?" DK says from next to me.

I eye him and down before replying. "Especially you if this morning was anything to go by" He pokes me in the stomach in return, kissing my cheek before whispering into my ear "But you love it". I shove him away from me laughing just as Hoshi calls up to the other end of the table.

"Hey, Coups hyung, you're predictions about Min-Ji being pregnant may not be far off." He shouts whilst smirking at me.

"Hoshi, you don't even know what happened this morning. To the best of your knowledge, it could've been me walking in on DK singing into a scrubbing brush in the kitchen when he was 'washing up' "I say, smirking. He huffs in reply as we finish our meal before all exiting. We use the back entrance which leads directly to where the cars are parked.

We hop in, Aria deciding to go with the other boys leaving just DK and I in his car. He switches on the engine and the radio starts playing.

"And our next song is by Seventeen. People, I give you Pretty U" the host says as the intro begins to play. DK sings along, miming all of the rapping parts while I sit there laughing at him. It's so easy for him to make me smile, to enjoy myself.

By the time the song finishes, we're at the apartment building, just pulling into one of the spaces.

"I love you, you know that right?" I say.

"I love you too." He says, leaning over and cupping my face so that we're kissing in the front of the car. However, we're soon interrupted by the honking of a car horn and several whoops and cheers as the members of seventeen pull up in their van, windows down and hanging out the side as S.Coups drives slowly towards us.

"I seriously hate them sometimes" DK says, laughing.
"Me too" I agree. They honestly have to turn up at the most awkward of moments.

We hop out of the car just as Aria gets out of Seventeen's van.

"I think I might have to stay with you guys tonight, I wouldn't want to interrupt anything" she says, smirking at me. I know she's joking but that doesn't stop Jun.

"You can have my bed if you want." He offers.
"Nah, it's alright, these two need a responsible adult on the premises" she says to which everyone cracks up laughing as DK and I flush a deep red.

"And with that, I'm going to go and phone my mum, I haven't talked to her in a while and I think she needs to know what's going on at the moment." I say, swiftly making my exit as the others trail slowly behind.
