Chapter Eighteen: Lu Sacrifices Hayate To the God Of Shampoo

^ Yes, that's the title I came up with.

((WARNING: Very weird chapter ahead))

Lucille was in the middle of telling Charlotte fascinating stories about Drake's failed attempts at impressing girls and the times the Stoll cousins pranked people, when this vile, ugly and disgusting creature decided to pay them a visit.

"You, half-blood", Hayate said, eyes blazing excitedly as he pointed a finger at her. "It's time to die"

The blonde daughter of Athena studied his stormy grey eyes that flickering with excitement, as if unable to wait for her to die. His olive skin was splattered here and there with scratches. The storm spirit had high cheek bones ,an annoying smirk and midnight-black hair that seemed as dark as the Stygian Iron sword Drake used.

Lu was disappointed to see that his nose was almost done healing.

"You could of at least said a better catchphrase", she snorted, and he rolled his eyes at this. "Maybe 'Your time is up' or maybe---"

"Ooh!  How about 'Say your prayers, you're about meet Hades'? ", a Cyclops with dirty blonde hair and dark blue eyes suggested, clapping happily. Judging from how small he was compared to the other the one before, and how childish he sounded like, he was probably still a kid.

"Can it, Victor ", the satyr from before growled and the Cyclops shrunk back and apologized.

"Yeah, that was an awesome catchphrase!", Lu exclaimed and Victor managed a weak smile. She felt a pang of sympathy for him. She knew not all Cyclops were bad, and this kid was one of them, but he won't stay long if the others taught him to be bad.

So, by smiling and being kind to him, she was making a friend.

Sometimes the best way to defeat an enemy, is to make him a friend.

"Whatever", Hayate muttered, before he pulled out a key from the his the pocket of his jeans and slipped it on the lock of the cell. It opened and the satyr grabbed her arm and dragged her out of the cell.

"Lu!", Charlotte yelled as the door shut close. She ran towards and held the bars separating her from the small girl. She gripped the iron bats very tightly. "No!",she cried in protest.

Lu smiled at her, warmly. "Don't worry, Charlotte, I'll be fine"

She wasn't sure if Elizabeth and Jas were sleeping or something, but the cell seemed unusually quiet and Lu concluded that they were probably ignoring her, or sleeping.

Hayate barked orders to restrain her, and the satyr and Victor the Cyclops each seized her arm and started dragging her away from her cell.

A sack was thrown over her head again and she frowned, it smelled worse than before.

"This sack smells like satyr poop", she complained, she heard an angry growl to her right and a stifled laugh to her left.

"Shut up and walk faster", Hayate commanded, making her roll her eyes,  but obliged.

They stayed silent after that, not because she had no more insults to throw at them, but because she was secretly counting her steps and memorizing every corner they turned.

Four steps to the right, turn a corner on the left, twenty-six steps after that, was a flight of stairs, five steps after that....

A plan slowly formed on her head, though it wasn't really much a brilliant plan since she had only a bit of information of the place she was in stacked in her brain
