I'm going to kill Gabe.

There's no way that this was an accident, because he knows everything about every club in town. He did this to me on purpose!

"Kota, can you hear me?" Victor asks. I grumble an 'umhmm' in return and he continues, " I will need at least sixty seconds to wire the phone, so put on a good show and keep the target distracted."

I can hear the sympathy in Vic's voice, but it does nothing for my situation at the moment.

The bass is thrumming through my body as the words to 'Counting Blue Cars' pop up on the screen.  Someone steps up behind me and grabs my backside, making me jump and shout into the microphone. North is laughing in my earpiece, and Gabriel is squealing like a banshee in the background.

"Tell me all your thoughts on God," I sing while trying to step away from the handsy drunk. I can see that the target is in the back corner of the room, and I signal to Luke where to go.

"We count only blue cars, skip the cracks in the street, and ask many questions like children often do..."

I see Luke slide behind and then away from the target, who is thankfully oblivious. He ducked out into the hallway, and Victor spoke,"Got it, Kota. 60 seconds and counting until setup is complete."

"It's getting cold. Picked up the pace. How our shoes make hard noises in this place..."

Handsy was trying to unbutton my shirt while I was singing and silently communicating with the team. "Don't blow your cover, Kota," I hear Nathan laugh into my earpiece. I'm trying not to panic, as I twist my body away.

"So tell me am I very far, am I very far now?"

I see Luke approaching the target to return his phone when Handsy twirls me away from the mic and smashes our lips together while thrusting me into a deep, swooping dip.

My mind goes blank.

I'm being kissed.

It's harsh and wet.

It smells like alcohol and cherry lipgloss.

I am getting my first kiss while I'm on a mission where I'm singing karaoke and being groped by a 200 pound biker at a gay bar.

I'm going to kill Gabe.
