After a week of doing nothing and making a dangerous business deal with a compulsive liar, I got back out into the street with Miss Mooney and her sidekick Butch. I wasn't betraying Miss Mooney just exploring some of my options. I wasn't angry with her at all! I was in that apartment for my safety, but now business had to continue as usual.

We met outside of Mooney's bar, the rain beat down on me but I was smart. Red leather hood. I smirked waiting for Miss Mooney to come out.

"Charlie" someone called. I turned around to see Oswald holding an umbrella.

"Oh. Hey, Oswald" I greeted. He gestured that was some space under the umbrella for me, I smiled and shook my head. I was safe away from the rain. Then the door of the bar opened and Oswald waddled as fast as he could to Miss Mooney to hold the umbrella for her.

"Thank you, Oswald" she said gratefully. Miss Mooney and I got into a car, Butch riding in the passenger's seat. Oswald was in the car behind us. We took off to an apartment building in a very bad neighborhood. But this was Gotham, was there even a good neighborhood? I jumped out of the car while Miss Mooney waited for Oswald to hold her umbrella. Oswald quickly got out of the car and held her umbrella. I could see why he would want to go against her now.
"Butch" she called.

"Yes, Fish?" He replied.

"Let our friends know they have company" she said with a sort of tone that gave me a shiver. Butch locked and loaded a gun along with three other guys. They went inside and Miss Mooney, Oswald, and I waited for the signal. Several gun shots were fired and that's when Miss Mooney strode into the building. Oswald scurrying to keep her out of the rain. We got inside, it was dark and gloomy. The whole place smelled of a mixture of drugs and other things I couldn't pin point but it wasn't legal for sure. We went down the hall and into the door that was open. When we walked in several people were dead or bleeding out by tables full of packaged drugs. I tried my hardest not to look at their dead bodies. Butch and the other two guys were roughing up a guy. Oswald and I stayed back while Miss Mooney gave him the business.

"Sorry for the mess but it was vital that we speak to you personally" she spoke down to him. He nodded profusely, blood dripping from his mouth. She pulled out a necklace that appeared to be broken.

"Put this into one of your baggies of drugs and see that it makes it to this location" she said handing him a piece of paper. He was shaking so bad he struggled to read the address. Then he looks up at Miss Mooney.

"Pepper's place?" He asked. His voice was shaky.

"Exactly" she said. Then she turned and walked away stepping around a dead body. I looked over to Oswald who had a devilish smile on his face. I got another shiver. I followed Miss Mooney outside, avoiding looking at the bodies again. Suddenly I thought of the man I killed and my stomach turned. I tried to swallow the vomit but I couldn't stop. I ran out ahead of Miss Mooney and threw up into the alley. Then, I quickly wiped my mouth and acted as nothing happened. No one seen anything, I didn't have to explain anything... Oswald ran outside putting up the umbrella. I walked around gaining my myself again. Then I hopped into the car. It's JUST business, I told myself.
