My eyes slowed opened, a light bulb hung above my head. I was sitting down, my bottom half was already sore. I looked around a bit. My arms were tied behind me around a pole that traveled up to the ceiling. I pulled, a sharp tension on my wrists. I couldn't see far, I could only see where the singular bulb showed. Into the darkness in front of me stood a deeper and darker shadow. I tries to remain calm but everything in my body was afraid. The feeling was so intense I felt myself shiver. The man stayed in the shadows, he watched me and remained still. Soon the shadow was approached by more people, they all spoke quietly but every S in their words made the darkness sound as if it were full of snakes. The sound echoed through the building and only contributed to my inner fear. I shifted and the tension back on my wrists made me grit my teeth. I couldn't speak, my saliva had gotten caught in my throat and choked my words. The men in unison looked and my direction.

"Maybe if we rough her up a bit..." a man in the darkness suggested. I swallowed hard.

"Falcone won't make a deal with you like that," I said, my voice cracked.

"Oh yeah? Why's that?" The man has now stepped into the light and I saw his face. His face was round and shaved, head shimmering like polished gold. He was large around, he wore a black suit with a purple tie and a large gold chain around his neck. The colors collided beautifully but not on him.

"If you hurt me falcone will find a way to hurt you back," I said thinking logically. Oswald and falcone had worked hard to get me here.

"Oh yeah little girl? What makes you so special to falcone? What are you guys working on?" The man asked a lot of questions, as if he were scared. I closed my mouth and shrugged. The man quickly reacted. He grabbed me up by my hood and threw me back down. The rope on my wrists had done some damage. I winced slightly but kept cool. "What are you planning! Why does he need you!?" He shouted. Every part of me wanted to speak, to figure out the man out loud but my best option was to remain silent. The man frustrated and slightly tired from completely lifting me up, snapped his fingers and a couple more men came out from the darkness to greet me. One of the men pulled me up to my feet then the other hit me across the face. My eye quickly changed to a blackish-blue color. J remained silent again and was punished. The man Hut me again, and again till my face oozed blood, but only on my right side. It was if half my face was another identity. Two face... Soon enough they let me drop back down to sitting. I spit blood out and o to the ground. My vision in my right eye was blurry and saw the world in a darker light. My neck began to tire and I let my head drop. Small strings of blood dripped out of my mouth and into my lap. I paid it no mind. Moments later I was passed out and dreamed of nothing.

My wrists suddenly felt free a familiar voice seemed very unhappy.

"You weren't supposed to kill her! I expected a few bruises but this wasn't apart of the deal," I heard Oswald say. My eyes shot open.

"What deal?!" I questioned, my speech was slurred. Oswald perked up a bit.

"Good, still functioning. No thanks to you!" He turned to the men.

"Oswald.. One of your people came after our people. We're gonna mess em up," the man in the suit said then laughed and looked to his boys.

"Falcone won't be happy with this. You and Mac already owe us," Oswald said he wasn't happy in the slightest. Someone from our team began to help me up and held me in their arms while the guys began to talk.

"Look, we gave you back you're lie detector.. no- now, give us back Mac," the man stuttered.

"No can do boss man. Not what falcone agreed to. He said he wanted the girl unharmed..." the other men drew guns. "Woah now boys..." Oswald began to say as a devilish smile came across his face. In seconds there was open fire and the man in the suit along with his minions were dead.
