(3) I will protect you....

Kimiko's POV

It was been had been a few months since I had visited the head's house. More then a few things have changed.

First I am now 5 years old. Me and my sister's birthday was in August and now it is October.

(A/N: I think most of you know where this chapter is heading already.....)

Also I have been hanging around Kushina a lot more. And she is going to be giving birth soon.

I see Kushina as a second mother and Minato as an older brother. I know it's confusing but that's how I see them. Lately I haven't been talking to Itachi due to me being more focused on training to be a great shinobi then a simple little crush I have.

Minato and Kushina have been helping me train. Kushina has taught me how to use chains from chakra and how to channel chakra and how to control it.

Apparently I'm known as one of the three Uchiha prodigies in this generation. The other two are Itachi and a boy who is older then me called Shisui Uchiha.

Back to the main idea. Minato has taught me what chakra nature I have. Lightning and fire. (I know it's very unique) and has shown me how to do certain lightning style jutsus and has given me books on fire style and lightning. I have been extremely lucky to meet such great and kind people. I am on my way to them now.

I knock on there door to see Kushina opening it. "Hello Kiko!" She exclaims. Yes, I have another nickname........ There are already way to many. "Hello Kushina-San. How are you?" I ask. "I'm good! Thanks for asking! Come in Kiko! I bet Minato will also want to see you." She says with happiness in her voice. Hmmm she seems a little happier today for some reason. She leads me to the kitchen table where Minato was sitting reading the village news paper. Minato looks over to me with delight. "Good morning Kiko." He says. I nod with a smile. "Good morning Minato-San." "Anyways! I need to tell you something Kiko, dattebane." She says whispering into my ear. She looked around as if trying to see if anyone was in the house. I look over to her to continue. She sees the hint and whispers into my ear. "I'm gonna have Naruto today!" She whispers to me. I looks at her in surprise. I smile a wide smile.

I have changed from before. Since I have met Kushina I have been smiling a lot more then before. But I still will have my normal stoic expression around strangers. "That's amazing new Kushina-San! I can't wait to finally meet him!" I hug her being careful with her stomach. She hugs me back with an equal smile. "But I will have to start to leave soon enough.... It's almost noon time and I have to do something special because of the nine tails." She frowns.

She has already told me about being a jinchuriki but I didn't care because that wasn't her, but I am still interested in how they act. "I'm so worried!!!!! What if it hurts!!!!! What if something happens to him?!?!" She rambles thinking of all the possibilities that will happen. "Kushina you must calm down. Stress isn't good for the baby." Minato smiles calming down his wife. "Oops! I'm sorry Naruto!!" I giggle at her reaction. She has been getting more mood swings as she has been going through pregnancy. For the rest of the time I had with them we talked about random things and laughed at jokes we had made.

Soon enough we heard a knock on the door. We walk to it to see and old women. "Ah yes Kushina we must start going." The women said with a wise voice. She nods. I look at her. She looks at me and thinks. "Biwako-San do you mind if Kimiko walks with us, she is like family." I hear Kushina ask the lady. She looks at me for a few second and sighed. "If she is that close she can come but she can not go into the barrier we must drop her of at the edge of the village." The women named Biwako answered I bowed to her as Kushina thanked her.

I had seen a smile smile on the women's face when I bowed. We walk out the door while Kushina explained to me that Minato has to get things ready so he will meet her at the point. I nod and we talk for most of the walk. Kushina occasionally asking Biwako-San some questions because apparently she is the midwife. We are soon about to get out of the village but we run into Mikoto. Me and Kushina say hello to her and start a mini conversation. "Hey mikoto-chan! How are you?" Kushina asks. Mikoto who has a little bundle in her arms makes a little cry which I recognized as Sasuke. Mikoto notices me with Kushina and she smiles. I smile back and wave hello. "I'm good Kushina thank you for asking. What are you doing out here?" She asks polite as ever. I see where Itachi gets his kindness from. "Well I have to get prepared for you know." She motions to her stomach. Mikoto nods. "Hey Mikoto....... Does it hurt?" Kushina asks while her eye twitches. Mikoto looks confused for a second but gives Kushina a smile. "So you are afraid of something huh?" She giggles as Kushina pouts.
