Quick AN: I had originally planned on abandoning all of my fanfics, and it had been like that for a good year or so, but today I saw a message from a fellow wattpad user asking me to continue this story, I had never gotten something like that and I felt honored that someone actually enjoyed what has to be my favorite work. So I decided to continue, and hopefully finish this story. Special thanks to SafiaKariem for inspiring me to continue, I don't think you understand how much it meant for you to go out of your way to tell me you enjoyed the novel and wanted to see it finished.

Kimiko's POV

"So what do you think the first exam is gonna be?" Hiroyuki asked. "Hm as long as we pass it I'm good." I nodded in agreement with Daichi. We were walking to the building. The second we entered the room where all the genin were to be all eyes landed at us. Many people scoffed at us seeing how young we were especially me. Others either looked in interest or just ignored us. We walked to an empty table and started chatting.

"There are so many people!!!! What if we fail?!" >~< -Hiroyuki

"Don't forget, we are strong and smart, we can do this just ignore them." -me

"Hn." -Daichi

Hiroyuki nodded and calmed down. We sat there for a few minuets in silence. During those minutes I studied my opponents. There were teams from every village. There were 2 teams from the mist, 6 teams from the sand, 1 team from the rain, 1 team from cloud, 2 teams from grass, 1 from rock, and 3 from Konoha.

16 teams... fortunately it's the winter exams, which normally has less teams than the summer exams. Though you can't even tell it's winter here in suna. Unfortunately almost all of these teams look powerful.

"Good morning genin!" A childish voice rang through the air.

Everyone's head snapped to a boy that looks the age of a child, that was wearing a jounin vest. He had light purple hair and pale pink eyes. Many of the other genin snickered at the proctor. "Hey kid! Go back to the academy this is the chunin exams!" I heard a male voice holler to the 'man'.

The boy laughed slightly while his bangs covered his eyes. The boy flashed at the genin in a split second. When everyone looked towards the genin who had a kunai pressed against his throat. The proctor glared at the boy and moved his gaze towards the forehead protector that was positioned of the side of the genin's head. "Mist village huh? I suggest you respect your elders...." The proctor warned the mist nin while pressing the kunai deeper into the boy's neck which caused it to bleed slightly. "Or something bad may happen." The proctor finished as he removed the kunai and walked back to the front of the room.

This time he had everyone's attention. "Now that I have token care of that, I am your proctor for the first exam! As some of you may or may not know the winter exams only have 2 exams. That is because of the lower number of teams in them. My name is Tadashi kentaro!" As he introduced himself he waved cutely towards us causing some of the kunoichi to squeal.

Seriously? It was slightly embarrassing to hear fellow kunoichi squeal in response to our upper class men shinobi. He giggled at the fangirls and continued.

"Now to explain the first exam! It will be divided into three parts! One for genjustu, one for ninjutsu, and one for taijutsu. Since there are three people in a team one person must be selected for each part. For each part you will be answering questions about the subject, and you will be required to fight opponents with that certain justu. For example if you excel at ninjutsu, you must answer questions based off ninjutsu and fight opponents only with ninjutsu, if anyone is caught using any other type of justu it will result in immediate disqualification for the whole team. The exam is a maze you must figure out your way through. Everyone who is doing taijutsu will start at the start of the maze with a scroll, they will complete 1/3 of it and hand it off your scroll to your next teammate who will be doing ninjutsu, and that shinobi will do the next 1/3 of the maze and hand off their scroll to the genjutsu teammate who will finish the race. You are allowed to steal other people's scrolls to have a higher chance of promotion in the next exam. But here is a set back, you must complete the maze in 5 hours, if you finish even a second after the bell has rung you will be disqualified. Do I make myself clear?" Tadashi finished.
