Well it's been 4 years. Since Naruto came into my life. He's now a happy four year old. And I am proud to say I have been there for every life accomplishment he's had, like his first steps, and his first words. He sees me as a big sister and surprisingly he has the same verbal tic as Kushina. Well almost, instead of saying dattebane he says dattebayo. I was surprised when I first heard him say that, because I never told him about his parents or did I every mutter that word. When I asked him he had said he felt like it was right to say that and all I could do was smile. He truly had Kushina's personality in him. Well now he's out of the hospital and is now living by himself, well kinda. He has ANBU watching over him and I check on him everyday. On most of my free time I usually spend with him, I sometimes talk to Shisui or Itachi, but other then that I don't really interact with any of the other Uchiha, well other then Sasuke and Izumi. I don't really like to be around my mother as much. She has changed for the worse since my father has died. She is no longer her cheerful self and always is either depressed or angry. She only smiles around Izumi but not me because I remind her too much of my father. I'm at least happy she hasn't become abusive or drunk. I have just graduated the academy. Izumi is still in it as Itachi graduated a year ago. I'm still unhappy how far behind I am from him. Anyways let's go back to the present shall we. Right now I'm on my way to meet my new team mates. They are supposed to be three years older then me. "204, 205, 206, 207. Ok so this is the room I believe." I mumble to myself. I open the door to see two kids in the room. Both male. "Hello, you must be my new team mates, I'm Kimiko Uchiha." I introduce myself. "Nice to meet you Kimi-chan! I'm Hiroyuki Sasaki! Is it true your only 9?????" One of the boys introduces himself acting like a 4 year old. He had dark green hair and purple eyes. He had a very unusual hair color. I nod answering his question. I look over to the other boy who looked like he was annoyed. "And you are." I ask. He glares at me not saying a word. This boy had icy blue hair and cold yellow eyes. "Daichi-kun!!!!!!!!! Don't be so rude!!!!! Anyways Kimi-chan, this is Daichi Tanaka." I nod at the new information. So these two are going to be my team mates? Not for long. I plan on being jounin by age 12. "Where is our sensei?" I ask. They have already been a team for about six months so they know each other. "Naomi-sensei should be here soon. She normally is late." Just after he finished that sentence the door opened to reveal a grown women probably in her early twenties with brown hair and red eyes. She was wearing the normal jounin attire. She looks around the room to see us and when her eyes saw me she smiled a little. "You must be Kimiko right?" She asked. I nodded taking a mental note of her forcing herself to be nice. "Well I'm Naomi-sensei nice to meet you." I look at her and nod again not wanting to talk to anyone. I'm still that type of person that doesn't tend to talk. "Ok since I believe you've introduced yourselves how about we go one a mission." She motions us to follow her as we walk to the hokage's office. She knocks on the door, we heard a gruff 'come in' and we walked in. Inside was a desk with lord third in it. "Team 15 needing a mission." Naomi states. The hokage nods and gives us a peice of paper with a D-rank on it. It read. 'Help wanted. D-rank job, help find missing kitten.' Sensei nods and starts to walk out with the other two but I stay. "Hey gramps has Naruto caused any trouble while I was gone?" I asked the hokage. He has been there for me and Naruto so now I see him as family. "I have gotten some complaints, but not much." He answered. I sigh. "That's good, I didn't want to find out he destroyed something. Well I need to get going see ya gramps." I say with a smile. "Have fun Kimiko, good luck on the mission." He smiles. I nod and walk out of the room to see my teammates looking at me weirdly. "Why is the hokage so friendly with you?" Surprisingly sensei asks. I shrug. "Over time I guess we have become closer." They are nod not really happy with my answer but we continue on. "So where can we find the cat?" I finally hear Daichi's voice. We were walking to the forest right outside of Konoha. "Well the client said she lives near the east forest so around there." Sensei explains. He nods and goes back into quite mode. We were surrounded by trees. It was quite peaceful. All you could hea- "*sticks break*." Hmmm could that be are missing kitten? Naomi-sensei's eyes narrow as she listen were the noise came from. It was quiet for a few seconds until we heard another sound. "Mew." We heard a kitten call out. I was the first to move. I look behind the bushes to find a kitten. I pick it up and bring it out to the others. "This her?" I asked. Naomi nodded and motions us to go back to the hokage's office. On the way there they were planning on having a team dinner. I agreed but asked if I could bring someone, and they said it was ok. "We have the cat." Naomi said walking into the office. The hokage nods and motion ms for her to give the cat to the client. I pass the kitten to her and she hands it to a fat lady who ended up squashing the poor thing. "Your dismissed." We all nod and walk out together. "So Kimi-chan who do you want to bring?" Hiroyuki asked. "My little brother, he hasn't eaten yet so I thought I might as well, but don't worry I'll pay for him." I answered. They nod. I lead them to Naruto's apartment. I knock on the door while the others waited behind me. Before Naruto could open the door Hiroyuki asked another question. "Wait why doesn't he live in the Uchiha compound?" "Because he isn't Uchiha." I answered they looked confused wanting to know who Naruto was. I could hear the door jingle. The door opened to see a little blond 4 year old. "Kimiko-nee!" Naruto exclaims jumping to hug me. I hugged him back and smiled. "Hey Naru, you hungry? I wanted to bring you out for food." He nods as his stomach growled. He blushed as I chuckled and grabbed his hand to follow me. I showed him to my teammates and they went wide eyed. "Guys this is Naruto, my younger brother." Hiroyuki looked in shock as Daichi and Naomi were glaring at him. Naruto notices and steps behind me. "Kimiko can we talk to you for a second?" Sensei asked. I nod and walked out of Naruto's eyeshot with everyone else. "Kimiko why are you with that demon?!" Sensei whisper yells. I glare at her with pure hatred. "Number one, if you ever call him a demon again I will personally kill you, never call him a demon." I say with venom dripping of my words. She looks shocked but didn't say a thing. "Number 2, he is my brother, I have been taking care of him since day one." I explain. "But he's killed hundreds!" Daichi almost yells. I glare at him. "He wasnt the one who killed them it was Kurama! And how do you feel calling an innocent boy who saved all of you from being killed a demon huh? I'm younger then all of you and I can see that. You are sad if you think so blindly, no you don't deserve to be ninja! He saved your dumb butts by sacrificing himself to a life of sadness. I all reality not once has he hurt a villager and he is a very kind and sweet boy but the idiots of the village don't care about the little child they are mentally hurting! So what now? Do you still think he is a demon?" I spat at them with so much hatred. They all look so surprised. Hiroyuki snaps out of the daze and looks in shame. "I'm sorry." He said. I look at him and nod. Daichi looks down and also mutters an apology. But Naomi puts on a fake guilty face and repeats what they say. If I didn't look in her eyes when she said it I would have believed her but all I saw was pure hatred and a bit of sadistic intentions. I will not ever let her get near him. I sigh. "Would you like to meet him?" I asked. They all nod and Hiroyuki smiled. "Yes please!" I smiled as well and brought them back to him. Naruto jumps as soon as he sees me and clings. I smiled at his behavior. "Hey Naruto I'm your sisters teammate! My names Hiroyuki!" I could see he had only good intentions and so did Naruto. Naruto grins and introduced himself. "This is Daichi he isn't much of a talker." Hiroyuki says. I giggle as I see Daichi glare at him. Soon it was Naomi's turn. "Hello I'm your sister's sensei my name is Naomi, nice to meet you Naruto." She said with a sadistic smile and in a sickly sweet tone. Naruto nods and grins. "So where do you want to go kimi-chan?" Hiroyuki asked. "Ichiraku!" Naruto screamed not even giving me a chance to answer. I look down at him with a pout but I then smile. "I guess we are going to ichiraku!" "YAY!!!!!!" "Come on let's get going I'm hungry..." Daichi states. We all nod ands all to the ramen stand that was not very far from the apartment.

"Hello Naruto, Kimiko! How are you?" Teuchi the stands owner greets. "I'm good gramps!" Naruto yells in enthusiasm. I nod and smile as an answer. "Who did ya bring with you?" I look behind me to see my team inspecting the place. "These are my new teammates Teuchi-san!" He grins and chuckles. "Well since it's such an occasion your ramen is one the house!" I grin and thank him as Naruto yells in excitement. "What would you like?"

"Miso ramen with extra pork!" -Naruto

"Miso ramen." -Me

"Extra spicy chicken ramen..." -Daichi 

"Beef ramen! With extra beef please!" -Hiroyuki

"Umm I'll just have a chicken ramen." -Naomi

"Coming right up!" Hiroyuki turns to Naruto and smiles. "So Naru! Do you want to become a ninja like your sister?" Naruto grins. "YEAH! But I'll be a better ninja! I'll be the hokage!" I smile at Naruto's dream, just like his parents.... Hiroyuki ruffles his hair. "Can't wait hokage-sama!" Hiroyuki and Naruto made small talk while Daichi had joined in a little. But Naomi was keeping quiet just starting at Naruto. "Here ya are! 5 bowls of ramen!" Teuchi interrupts us. He places down our bowls in front of us. I could see Naruto and Hiroyuki looking at it like an animal who hasn't eaten in days. "Thanks for the food!" All of us started chomping down our noodles.

Me and Naruto are now walking home from the dinner with my team. Naruto seemed to enjoy the new company, since no one really likes him in the village. I unlock the door to Naruto's apartment. "Come on Naruto we need to get you ready for bed." "No! I'm not tired nee-chan! I'm wide awake!" "Hmmmm if you don't yawn in the next minute I'll let you stay up!" He puts on a cocky face. "That gonna be easy, believe it!" He crosses his arms trying to look smug but not ten seconds after his little statement he yawn loudly. "Time for bed." "Awwwwwwwww but nee-chan!!!" "No buts Naruto, you must listen to your nee-san!" He grumbled a little while rubbing his eyes. I rolled my eyes and escorted him to his room where he got changed and I tucked him in. "Good night future hokage...." I kiss him on the forehead. "Night nee-chan, love you." He whispered closing his eyes and immediately falling asleep. "I love you too Naruto..." I walked out of his apartment and towards the graveyard. Once I got there I went to my father's grave. I sat on my knees and stared at the piece of stone. "Hello father, I'm sorry I haven't visited recently, I have had my schedule full with becoming a genin and getting a team. If your wondering Izumi is good, she isn't causing any trouble in the academy and keeps her grades up. Mom...... Well she's the same, missing you...... I'm sorry you died Dad.... I'm sorry I failed you..... I couldn't save you, kushina, or minato.... I wasn't even able to prove myself as strong while you were alive and well....." I stop for a second not even being able to speak. I felt tears streaming down my cheeks as I cried softly. "I-if only I-I was a little f-faster..... I c-could've......" I stop talking feeling a lump in my throat making it hard to breathe. I sniffle and just let my memories taunt me. "Kimiko? Is that you?" I went wide eyed and snapped my head in the direction I heard a voice. I stare in shocked and disbelief at who I saw. "I-Itachi?!" He walks over to me and crouches down to where I was sitting. He put his hand on my face and wiped my tears. "Why would you blame yourself for that..?" He asked with worry in his voice. I looked away ashamed of myself. "Because it's true.... If I didn't play with Izumi for that long, that day he wouldn't had looked for us and get killed....." I stare at the ground trying to keep my tears in. I let one slip... I felt an arm on my shoulder. "But you had no idea!.... Kimiko.... You can't take the blame for everything. You go through life so strong not  caring what people think, not even giving yourself any credit, but you help everyone else! You give anyone a chance! You can't keep you feeling hidden away or you'll break down!" He hugged my as I payed frozen in his arms. 'Bump bump, bump bump, bumpbump' I felt my heart race. "W-why do you care..?" I whispered not expecting an answer. "Because your a clan member and I can't watch as my family gets hurt..." He explained unsure of his answer. I felt my heart deflate. "Come on I'll escort you home." I nod getting up wiping my tears. What was I expecting? For him to say he wouldn't be the same without me..? I really need to stop reading those romance novels, they keep making me expect someone to be there. "Yeah thanks." He nods as we walk to the compound together.
