Once I woke before dawn,
And I was really drawn,
To the sun-rise,
Staring right up the sky.Had my hopes on;
The things that I found,
To be so...wrong.
Dreaming a bit too high...But I have a big heart,
I know that I got this far;
Even if it meant a few scars.And I got this way;
It's hitting me like a sunray...
Everything's going to be okay...I've been finding out,
Where I've been blinded.
Chased all the stars,
That have been hiding.
I found the light...I've been going about,
Through all the oceans,
Singing aloud,
While I was frozen.
I just found the light...Time we take this reverie,
And turn this into reality.
Come out of your quicksand,
And grab my hand...Hullo, fellow mates! We have now passed a week in the month of fall, August. Olympics in Rio have begun, the States are still into their political skirmishes, and children screaming about the upcoming school year... A very fresh look, indeed...
But here! Here we discuss the matters of this poem! Well to start off, this is into the hope and adventure genre of poetry. These days we are spending numerous hours on social media, watching TV, or eating an excessive amount of crumpets... The poem conceptualises the fact we've been depending on hobbies or actions we do that are simply unreliable, and tend to rather give the impression of false hope. Hope that is acquired from believing in something that you can't depend on, but choose as a matter of having no choice. And this poem attempts and exemplifies the inverse of false hope to rather, hopeful events.
If you enjoyed this, be sure to hit that orange star; comment your notions in the commentary box; tell your friends and family about the concept; and follow for more shenanigans from me...

Firefly
PoetryOne of the few things I've really enjoyed looking up to were fireflies. To me, they are a symbol of hope piercing a shroud of darkness... or a spark of creativity lying in the most unknown of places to be unveiled. That's where I got "Firefly" from...
