It's been a month of trying to balance school, work, and a relationship. Halloween was coming up on a Friday and I promised to go to some party with Jeremiah that day. Today there was going to be a Halloween party on campus. I had driven to Jeremiah's house before because I wanted to show him my costume.
"I look ridiculous." I said. I was dressed as Pocahontas because Katherine was going as the little mermaid and Mariah was going as a sexy Cinderella. I had invited Kasey along with us and she was dressing as Princess Tiana because she wanted to be the black princess. I swear she was crazy.
"You look sexy though." Jeremiah told me while laughing.
(Ignore her face that isn't Vanessa, that's her costume)
"Then why are you laughing at me?" I asked him pouting.
"I don't know I'm sorry." He answered still laughing.
"And what is this little thing I'm holding?" I asked him before setting it on the table.
"Don't carry that around." He told me.
"I'm not." I replied. "Are you sure you'll be fine without me tonight?"
"Vanessa I'm not twelve." He answered.
"I know but I don't really want to go." I told him. "I want to stay with you."
"You should go to these things, I'm not going to trip like last time I was in a bad mood." He replied.
"I'll see you after your game tomorrow?" I asked him.
"Yes, do you need a jacket it's cold outside." He told me.
"No I'll be fine since we'll be inside." I said.
"Alright I love you, have fun." He told me before giving me a kiss.
"Why don't you drive me?" I asked. "I can ride home with Kasey."
"That's not a good idea baby." He replied. "I know you're saying this because of our fight last time."
"Not just that I don't care about the rumors." I told him.
"Take your cute ass on to the party." He said and I laughed.
"I love you." I replied wrapping my hands around his neck. He pulled me towards him wrapping his hands around my waist.
"I love you too." He told me smiling.
"Alright I need to go." I said before pecking his lips.
