Chapter Seven

The next morning I woke up to Jeremiah snoring. My hands were no longer wrapped around him I had rolled to the other end of the bed. I turned on my side to see him facing me dead asleep. I chuckled to myself at how innocent he looked while sleeping. I crawled out of bed and grabbed my bikini that I wore yesterday to go change. I threw my tank top that had The Incredibles on it over my top and put some black Nike sporty shorts on. I tied my hair back into a high ponytail after brushing my teeth and applying deodorant. When I was finished washing up I went back to the bed.

"Jeremiah." I said crawling ontop of him and straddling him.

I heard him groan but he didn't move. "Wake up." I said again kissing his neck.

"What are you doing?" I heard him mumble and I sat back up.

"You need to get up its like nine o'clock." I told him. Yea I know that's really early but if we wanted to get back home in time he needed to get up.

He moved so that I wasn't sitting on his side but ontop of him. "You're already dressed."

"Yea but I still look like shit." I said.

"No you don't." He replied running his hand down my side.

"I don't even have makeup on yet." I told him and he rolled his eyes.

"Still gorgeous." He said and I didn't say anything. Honestly I don't know how to take compliments because I feel like they're lies.

"I didn't know you liked The Incredibles." He told me chuckling when I didn't say anything.

"I love them I want Violet's powers." I said looking down at my shirt and he laughed.

"Well get up so I can get ready." He told me and I crawled off him onto the bed.

"Hurry up." I demanded as I watched him walk away to the bathroom.

"Order room service." He told me and I grabbed the hotel phone. I wasn't about to turn down food.

After we got breakfast we went to go meet my friends at the beach. They were all out in the water messing around and trying to get Kasey to go deeper into the water. I turned to look at Jeremiah and he had already took off his shirt.

"Are you ready to get in?" He asked looking at me since I wasn't making an effort to take off the clothes I had over my bathing suit.

"Yes." I answered trying not to stutter. I didn't know why I felt under pressure right now. Maybe it was because some people were staring at us. I quickly took off my Incredibles shirt and put it in my bag. I did the same when I took off my shorts. He grabbed my hand and started walking me down to the water.

"You want to get on my back?" He asked me.

"Nope I'm not falling for that." I told him.

"Falling for what?" He said chuckling.

"You're going to drop me in the water again." I replied as we got closer to the water.

"No I'm not." He said before letting go of my hand and running out into the water where my friends were.

"You're so childish!" I yelled after him. I walked into the water trying not to get knocked down by the waves. I was surprised my friends were so far out into the ocean.

"Hurry up Vanessa!" Aiden yelled at me even though I was getting close to them.

"Shut the hell up!" I yelled back over the waves and they started laughing at something Jeremiah said.

"What did you say?" I asked him when I made my way to them. The water wasn't cold at all and the sun was shining right on us.

"He said why are you so mean." Austin told me and I glared at Jeremiah.
