Chapter 9: Back at camp

The thing about walking back to camp late at night or early in the day is that it's an hour walk back and it's four am with the sun rising soon so the annoying birds are chirping, the path way is some what lit up with the sun just peeking at the horizon.

"You guys have been gone for a week by the way." Evin tells us as we walk down the pathway. "Seriously?" I ask him he nods.

We continue walking for another half hour down the dirt path when the sun starts to rise on the eastern hemisphere. The closer we get to camp the more louder the birds get and then we here some people screaming.

"THEY'RE GONE!" A voice yells out. "WHO?" Another asks. "ZARA AND EVIN!" I groan seriously it's like five in the morning people shut up.

"What don't like the noise of the campers?" Evin smirks. "It's five in the morning how are they this loud?" I ask voicing my thoughts from five seconds ago Evin shrugs.

"Come on last one there gets to explain!" Cali says and bursts out running the others not to far behind. "You coming?" Evin asks. "We are all going to have to say something when we get back anyways." I tell him. "You're no fun." He pouts. "What's this fun you speak of?" I question him jokingly. "That's a matter of opinion." Evin responds going along with it. "Stop being mushy and gushy and get moving!" Zara exclaims.

Evin and I grin at each other before we run into the direction of camp. When we get back everyone is by the fire place minus the two of us. "So who wants to explain?" Evin asks me before we enter the place. "We'll probably explain it better if we do it together." I said as we enter the the campfire area.

As soon I get in I get tackled down by my brother. "Oomph." I groan as I'm thrown on the floor and that's when I see what they mean  when he wasn't taking my kidnapping well. His skin was extremely pale and dark bags under his eyes and light blonde hair all over the place. "You look terrible." I told him as we get up. "So do you." He retorts I glare at him and we have the typical brother sister stare down. Awkward silence surrounds the campfire as the state down continues for longer then they expected the five minute mark hit thirty seconds ago.

"How long is this going to happen?" Hudson asks. "Who knows." Zara replied. "Soooooooooo." Evin said dragging the O when the two broke apart. "Wait who's the oldest?" Pepper asks the two. They both give her the 'really?' Look.

"I am/he is." The two reply in sync looks of 'oh' is seen on the campers faces when they hear that and some even mutter "that makes sense."

"What happened and after you tell us you are all showering." A kid from Evin's team comments. "It's a long story." Cali, Taya, Kayla, Nari, Hudson, Caden, Jake, and Kevin say.

"I forgot how nice it was to be clean." Cali jokes as she comes out of the shower chestnut hair in a wet messy braid in some sweats and a baggy t-shirt like she's ready for bed. "Come on your turn now." I smile and grab a towel and some clothes. "You may want to actually get dressed." I tell her as I go in.

Twenty minutes later I come out of the shower hair in a French braid and wearing a pair of black thigh length jean shorts and a emerald green short sleeve shirt. "I'm guessing you like the colour green." Cali guess I nod and noticed her change of clothes which was now a pair of grey leggings and a purple top.

"Let's go." I say to her and we leave our cabin.

Whoop! Updated on time!

Using camps wifi again in this state and its going to be another long drive tomorrow. And I being the dumb blonde I am forgot to bring my notebook with the character information.
