You know that feeling when you are on a roller coaster, and all of a sudden it just falls? Sure, your stomach jumps in your throat, but you know that you are perfectly safe. Now, remove that safety belt they had secured on you, and ride that ride.

              You would be terrified, right?

Now multiply that fear times 1000. That is what I'm feeling right now. Why?

Because I pulled an Alice. I am falling down a great abyss, probably never to see the light of day ever again.

However, unlike Alice, I am screaming my head off and spitting locks of hair out of my mouth instead of asking myself pointless questions as I fall to my death.

To add to my terror, a flock of bats decided to blast by my face, one even getting inside of my mouth as it flew past.

I decided to clamp my mouth shut after that incident.

Various tree branches sliced at my arms and legs, some managing to scratch my face. I was pretty sure I was either going to die from one of two options. One, by falling to my death, or two, a branch is going to decapitate me or cut off one of my limbs and I will slowly bleed to death.

              Thump. Thump. Boing!

I landed in something sticky and bounced like a trampoline. My first
thought? I survived! I'm not dead!

My second one?

Oh shit. I am going to die.
