"We don't have to take our clothes off to have a good time..."

My music is interrupted by someone calling me. I don't bother looking at the called I.d because I already know who it is.

"Yes Jacob?"

"I'm on the way and you better be ready when I get there."

I laugh and roll my eyes. "Aren't I always ready?"

"You haven't been for the past couple of weeks."

"That's because you never come at the same time. You gotta learn to be consistent Jake."

"Whatever Bri, just be ready when I get there. See you in 10 minutes."

I shake my head and laugh. Jacob is my one and only best friend. We've been inseparable since grade school.

After we hang up, I grab my carolina blue UNC Chapel Hill hoodie adding the finishing touches to my outfit. As soon as I grab my bookbag, phone, and charger I hear a honk outside signaling that Jacob is outside.

I hear my mom yell, "Briana, Jacob is outside!"

I quickly grab a granola bar and a bottle of apple juice before kissing my mom goodbye and getting in the car.

"Oh my gosh, you're actually on time.", Jacob jokes.

I slightly roll my eyes and chuckle.

"Shut up and drive. I have a class at 10:30 and it's 10:16."

"You act like I can't get us there in time or something."

"If I had gotten a ticket for going too slow like you, would you trust me in a time crunch?"

He doesn't say anything so I decide to drop the conversation. It's times like these when I wish I had a car of my own. I'm 19 years old and a sophmore in college and I don't have a car. Two of my goals before I graduate are to get my own place and my own car.

Once we pull up at the campus, I quickly get out and look down at my phone.

3 minutes.

Looks like I'm going to be getting my exercise in for today, I think and begin running to class. I run to my seat in the back, exhaling deeply as the bell rings a few seconds after I sit down. I quickly send a text to Jacob to pick me up at 1:30. He texts back with a, "K" and I put my phone on silent and put it away.

"Welcome students..."
