Nori loved sleeping in with Rylan. He was always warm, and it was easy to ignore any pressing problems.

Of course being sore all over and feeling like your arm had been torn off was a different story all together.

Nori fully woke up, burrying his face in the pillows to keep quiet. When would waking up like this stop? Well it had only been two days, but still. How long would it take for the pain to stop? He backed up into Rylan, who was basically a hard wall of muscle, but at least warm.

They both weren't wearing any clothes... Because of last night. What did that mean their relationship was now? How would it change? Nori wanted to be in a relationship with Rylan, but how did he feel about this? Nori was the one who jumped him, so it could have just been the heat of the moment that set everything off... Ugh. Why was he feeling self conscious now?

Rylan groaned a bit, nuzzling the curve of Nori's neck.

Nori would have loved the feeling... If he wasn't so sore.

"Nmm." He whimpered lightly.

"Huh? Damn. I'm sorry, love. I completely forgot. Why didn't you put your sling back on?"

"I hate wearing it when I'm trying to sleep. It's uncomfortable."

"Yeah. Because being comfortable is so much more important than having a working arm." Rylan scolded.

"Well I didn't expect to have sex last night."

"You're the one who jumped me."

"Yeah and... Shut up. You didn't protest." Nori muttered, burying himself in the covers.

"Well I need to get ready for work. Do you want to take a shower with me?" Rylan asked, leaning over Nori and kissing the back of his neck.

"I want to go to work to. I hate being here all alone." Nori muttered into the pillows.

"Love... I think you need to stay here and rest."

"If I rest, I just have nightmares. I'd go to school... But not yet."

Rylan sighed. "Alright kid. I really think you should rest, but come on. Let's get ready." Rylan carefully helped Nori out of the bed and carried him to the bathroom. They both got into the shower, turning the water as hot as it would go. Hot showers were a gift on cold mornings. The main problem was the fact they couldn't keep their hands off each other for more than five seconds.

"Mmm... Nori. As much as I love this, you're the one who wanted to go to work."

"You asked if I wanted to take a shower with you. It's your fault." Nori muttered burying his face in Rylan's chest.

Rylan chuckled, tilting his head back and kissing him. "I guess this will be the last time we'll do this."

"...I hate you."

"Of course you do, now let me wash your hair."

"Nori. Bouncing around is not going to get us there any faster." Rylan noted, pulling up into the parking lot.

"I can't help it. I get to officially start today. I get to meet everyone and see the forensics lab."

"Do you even know where the lab is."

"Of course. I memorized the entire layout of the building, after what happened last time."

"I've worked here for the last nine years, and I still don't know the entire building."
