It had been a few days since the fiasco at the metal yard. Everything had pretty much settled back into it's normal routine. Even though they had found the body in the warehouse, do to the rust in the soil, they couldn't link it to the other murders. The way the body was found and how they were murdered were completely different. They had to be connected somehow. Maybe the murder had an apprentice or something. At least at the moment they were stuck with some boring office work. Hye and Nori still did not get along. They were insulting each other at every turn, mostly about height and age.

"You're going to die..." Nori said to Rylan as they were eating lunch in Rick's office.

"This is my favorite food."

"Cookies do not count as food."

"You're eating eggs and bacon at one in the afternoon." Rylan said, completely unamused.

"I don't eat them at every meal."

"You would."

"You two argue like a married couple." Hye muttered, walking into the office. Maybe  they would end up breaking up because of that. Fingers crossed.

Nori leaned against Rylan, smirking at her. She really didn't get that the detective was his.

"Stop cuddling during work hours." Rick noted, walking in as well. He was the only one who was actually working at the moment, since he came in carrying the case files.

Rylan still ignored what he said, by putting his arm around Nori's shoulder. "Any good news?"

"We found a dental match on the victim at the warehouse."

"Don't keep us in suspense." Hye said excitedly.

"Marshall James. He was twenty-two when he died, and was there for over a year." Rick explained.

For a moment Nori was in complete shock and Rylan knew exactly why, remembering the name. "...Let me see the file." The student said lightly. The older detective was hesitant on giving him the file, seeing his reaction so far.

Everything in the file was spot on. The measurements, dental.... What was left of the clothes. There were two pictures. One of Marshall with his pale green eyes and blonde hair, and the other of his bones. At this point Nori was getting both worried looks from Rick and Rylan.

"Are you ok kid?" Rick asked taking the file.

"Y-Yeah... I'm going to..." Nori quickly ran out of the room, as fast as he could.

"What did I miss?" Rick asked confused.

"I'll explain later." Rylan said running after the student.

How the hell was he having trouble catching up to Nori? He was like twice his height. At this point the kid was completely gone. Rylan stopped and sighed, where the hell would he go? Knowing Nori it would be void of anyone, and probably small... He was in the car. The detective quickly ran out to the underground parking, to see he was completely right. Nori was sitting on the floor board in the back, with his legs pulled up to his chest. The detective quickly got into the back seat, awkwardly hitting his head and legs. It certainly wasn't made for someone his size. "Nori, I'm so sorry...." He said gently running his fingers through the student's hair. He couldn't really pull him into his arms at the moment.

Nori couldn't really say anything his voice, was catching with each sob. This entire time... Marshal had just been hanging there. In a scrap yard of all places. He died alone, and in pain.

"I should have realized.... He was alone..." Nori sobbed, covering his face.

"No. Nori look at me. It is not your fault. There is no way you could have known. The two of you didn't even have contact after you broke up. I know this doesn't mean  much now, but we will catch the son of a bitch responsable." Rylan said gently tilting Nori's head up. The student's cheeks had tears running down them. "Come on, sit up here with me." He said pulling him up into the seat. The student didn't struggle. He kind of felt lifeless at the second. Rylan wrapped him into a tight hug, pulling his jacket over the student. "It's alright love, I'm right here."
