"listen, when you tell the cops you become a 'prisoner of the game'" he said, using air quotations.
my jaw dropped "WHAT?!"
"listen, I told them last year. all I'm gonna do is a dare that's gonna knock me into the finals, and then you're gonna win, and you'll be fine" he said.
"what about you!?!" I asked, terrified.
"I'll win next year" he said.
"well where do we go?" I asked, about to have a nervous breakdown.
"I'm going to do my dare, you're going to the finals stadium so you can win"
