The Night We Met- Lord Huron.

A/N: I love this song especially because it talks about lost love and what could have been, which is exactly how I felt writing this chapter.

Break the glass ceiling and let the splinters from it cut your soul. The scars will remind you of who you were before you became who you are- Lexonart

"Phillip, come on. Someone could walk in. We could get expelled." Gabriella sighed as Philip's nose tickled her neck.

"When did exhibitionism ever stop you?" He whispered planting a kiss against her neck.

Gabriella bit her bottom lip and stifled a moan that threatened to come out of her throat.

"It hasn't."

"Good, now shut up and kiss me." He ordered and she obliged.

"I will always love you Brie."

"And I you, Phil."

Gabriella bit her lip as it quivered and she tried not to cry. Even her brain was guilt tripping her by making her remember the good moments.

It wasn't my fault, she repeated to herself.

She still stared at the empty locker before her. She knew any junior would jump at the chance to arrange her locker but she did not want to give anyone the chance to go through her stuff. It already felt like everyone was looking through the window of her soul and judging her for what they thought they were seeing.

It was almost time for dinner but she wasn't hungry. From her peripheral, she could see the other students carrying their plates and lunch bags and walking out of the dormitory. After Ella Mae finally had pity on her and relieved her from her duties at the registration booth, she had come straight to the dormitory that she had been assigned to and had plopped herself on the firs free bed she saw and just stared at the ceiling.

The other dorm members available stared at her and whispered but Gabriella did not have the strength to tell them to mind their own business neither did she have the power anymore. Word was spreading about the new queen in Padmore. Ella Mae had claimed the throne as hers and the people of Padmore were beginning to embrace the change.

Maybe a little too much. Gabriella thought, still staring at the empty locker.

Ella Mae had sent some juniors to carry Gabriella's trunk to the dormitory and now all she had to do was unpack and settle in. She couldn't now, being in the dormitory that overlooked the mango tree she and Phillip used to make out under, she felt too weak to do anything so she plopped herself on her bed and sighed. She wondered if she had even taken a good bed. Having a bed at the greatest spot had always been top priority.

However, when she got to the dormitory, she wanted to be as inconspicuous as possible so she chose the last bunk in the farthest corner of the room, well as farthest as six bunk beds in a huge room could be. Padmore High had six male houses and five female houses and each house had about twelve rooms housing at least seventy students in each.

Gabriella was in Mandela house, one of the newest houses in Padmore. Gabriella got up and jumped on the mattress she had been lying on and bounced on it. It wasn't lumpy or hard which was a good thing. Her bunk was next to Ella Mae who was on the top bunk and Nana Aba who was on the lower bunk next to her. She could handle Ella Mae and Nana Aba was quiet and minded her own business. It wasn't a bad thing. The remaining bunks were as far away from hers as possible which was perfect.
