Nick's P.O.V
"Can we get some coffee on the way there carrots?" I asked Judy as she stopped at the light.
"No Nick. We're already running late as it is. We don't have time for coffee." She replied.
"But I need caffeine. Without caffeine, I won't be able to be your favorite fox!" I said.
"What? What does coffee have to do with you being my favorite fox. And who said you are my favorite fox?" She asked.
"You did. Just now." I smugly said while I smirked.
"No! I, just, uh, argggg!" She growled angrily.
It's been 6 months since me and Judy solved the Night Howlers case. After that, I joined the force. It has totally turned my life around for the good. I really don't know where I'd be without Judy. Probably getting in some big trouble.
Ever since we became partners in the force, I've kinda been developing feelings for her. I usually shrug it off and ignore it, but they keep on coming back. It's like my brains screaming at me to like her. But now, that feeling is getting stronger and stronger. I've been getting more and more protective over Judy. I don't want anything bad to happen to her. If I let something happen to her, I'd never forgive myself.
But I'm afraid Judy won't feel the same about me. And I'm a fox. She's a bunny. I don't know if that'll ever work out. It's what keeps me up at night.
"Nick? Nick?" Judy asked. I must've spaced out while I was thinking.
"Oh yea, sorry." I said.
"It's okay. What are you thinking about?" She asked. I couldn't tell her what I really thought about.
"Uhh, nothing! Just work." I frantically said. She looked at me funny.
"Well, speaking of work, we're already late so we need to get going." She said. We were already at the station. Wow. I must've really spaced out. Me and Judy got out of the car and headed into the station. We were greeted by Clawhauser.
"Hey wildehopps!" Clawhauser called out. I didn't get what he meant by that. Me and Judy looked at each other confusingly.
"What did you say?" I asked nervously.
"Ohhhh! That's right! You don't know about it yet!" He squealed with delight.
"Heard what?" Judy asked nervously.
"Oh, everybody here ships you and Nick! I would've thought you would've heard about it yet." He said.
"What does, shipping, mean?" Judy asked. I was thinking the same thing.
"Ohhh. Shipping is where we put two mammals together in an imaginary relationship and spend our time hoping it will happen in real life." He squealed.
Me and Judy looked away from each other while we blushed.
"And Wildehopps is what we call you relationship name!" He said. I about had enough.
"Okay Clawhauser, I think me and Judy have had enough. Now we have to get to assignment room. We're already late as it is." I quickly said. This was just plain embarrassing. Did people really think of us like that? Crazy.
Once me and Judy opened the door, we were greeted with every eye staring at us. Chief Bogo stopped what he was reading and looked up at us. He didn't seem happy.
"Wilde. Hopps. You're late! Take a seat." He growled. I was right about him not being happy. Me and Judy sat in the chair we always shared. I kinda liked that we share a chair. She kinda has to because, you know, she's uhhh, she's small. Judy doesn't like being called small. She gets really mad. Trust me, been there, done that, don't do it again.
Once everyone else got their assignments, Bogo turned to us and gave us our assignment.
"You two will go undercover to find a suspect that has been kidnapped young women. He has been spotted at Creek land High school. You will go undercover and get him." He said.
Me and Judy looked at each other with excitement and concern. We were happy to go undercover, but scared for each other.
"Yes sir!" Judy said excitingly. She beat me too it.
"Good. Here's the file on him." Bogo said holding up a file. I got up to take it. When I took it, he walked out the door. I went back to our office with Judy. She seemed more happy than concerned. I was more scarred than happy. Anything could go wrong. Not to mention Judy getting hurt.
We looked over the file. Adult male bunny. Gray with black markings. Known to seduce women back to his place and kidnap them to an unknown location.
Height: 5,3
Weight: 50 pounds
Sex: Male
Last known sighting: Creek Land high school
Name: Unknown
Age: 18-25 yrsHis profile seemed to have a good amount of info. Enough to get a good lead on this suspect.
"When you leave, get some cheap clothes to make you look like a high schooler." Judy said. That made good sense.
"Yea. Good idea. When should we leave?" I asked.
"Tomorrow night. That way we got there by morning and get to school the next day." She replied
"Aren't you worried? I mean undercover is dangerous, and if you get caught, unmentionable things could happen." I asked.
"No. And don't be so paranoid Nick. You can't live your life in fear." She said.
"It's not fear, it's safety." I defensively said.
"Whatever floats your boat Wilde." She said.
Time skip to the next night.
Once Me and Judy finished putting the last bag in the trunk, we got in the car.
"Who's gonna drive first?" I asked. To be honest, I didn't mind driving.
"I'll drive. I like to take long drives." She said. I was fine with that.
"Okay. I'm gonna take a nap while you drive." I said as I closed my eyes, and drifted off to sleep.

"Hey boss?" I asked.
"Yea? What is it? I'm busy!" He replied.
"They've left their place. Their heading after you." I said.
"Good. Just what I want." He said.
