Chapter 12: The Killer Strikes

                                                       AUDREYS P.O.V
      I was laying down on Noahs bed as he was laying down at the other side. We talked for a couple hours about Sarah and how much she meant to me. I didn't want to lose her, I never do. Noah and I had been in complete silence for a little while. Neither of us were sleeping, more like staring at the cieling deep into though. My phone started going off and I looked at it seeing that it was Emma. I didn't want to talk to her, or anyone else for that matter. I knew Sarah was staying with her as Emma had told me about it earlier today. Once it stopped ringing she called again.
"Are you going to get that?" Noah asked me.
"No, not in the mood to talk to anyone other than you right now."
"It could be important maybe"
I gave Noah a weird look.
"Probably just questions about miss Lang or so dumb thing about the killer. It can wait. She has Sarah for company. She can talk to her about it."
Noah just nodded. A few seconds later Noahs phone rang. He looked at it then looked at me.
"It's Emma". Maybe something is wrong I thought. This wasn't like her and she knew I was with Noah. I nodded at Noah to give him the hint to answer it in which he did. I wasn't paying much attention until Noahs eyes went wide.
"Sarahs in the hospital again?"
My heart literally stopped. "WHAT"? I grabbed the phone from Noah.
"What the hell happened to her" I was a mixture of hurting and upset and pissed the fuck off.
"She was with Eli and I and"
I cut Emma off.
"You let that prick near her"
She sounds annoyed at this point.
"Audrey he didnt do anything to her. We were inside a house but someone, that someone being the killer I assume had set ths place on fire from the outside. Eli helped us out but Sarah wandered off further than we expected. Eli seen a car coming fast, he tried to warn her and he ran towards her to try to save her but it was too late." Emma was crying at this point and ao was I. I didnt know if I could speak at this point.
"I...is she okay" I asked. It was dead silent for a minute or so before she spoke.
"She's in a coma".
2 hours later
     I was in the hospital room staring at Sarah. She looked dead and it was heartbreaking. I was scared so badly. What if she didn't wake up? What if She lost all her memory. Too many thoughts had gathered in my head. This is all my fucking fault. I put my face in my hands as I started to cry again. My eyes were probably really red and puffy but I didn't really care at all. Noah tried to make me eat and drink something but I kept refusing every damn time. I was too upset, too depressed and too sick feeling to want to eat. I felt just as weak as can. My phone buzzed. I took it out of my pocket slowly and read the message.
Unknown: Hello Audrey, I see you found out about the move I made on your girlfriend again.
Me: When I find you, you will get exactly what you deserve you fucking sycho.
Unknown: We'll see about that now won't we
I let out a sigh and shoved my phone back into my pocket. I looked at Sarah again. I moved closer to her and held her hand.
"Baby, if you can hear me please squeeze my hand or move or something just anything please." No movement at all. I took a deep breathe and sighed again. I kissed her forehead gently.
"Sarah, I'm..I'm sorry for everything. I failed at protecting you but I promise you once you wake up I will never leave again. I will take you with me, keep you safe. Please, you gotta stay with me hun. I love you so much, I cant lose you too. You're the most beautiful girl I have ever met and the most amazing one too. You really make me happy, ask anyone. This is the happiest I have ever been and without you I would be so lost and devistated. Please wake up. I want you marry you one that, I am deeply positive about that baby. Please...please wake up."
Minutes went by and I heard someone beeping from her machine.
"Help!!!! Doctors!!!!" I yelled as I left the room looking for a Doctor or nurse.

                                                          SARAHS P.O.V
     There was a little bit of light shinning and then someone came into the picture, looking straight at me.
"Mom?" I asked surprised.
"Yes sweetie"
I thought for a moment trying to think about what had happened to me. I was hit, hit by a car. I looked my mother straight in the eyes.
"Am I dead or just dreaming"
"You're just dreaming hunny. You need to wake up."
It could make sense that I was dreaming. I could be in a coma and someone I need to wake up. My mother slowly drifted away but it was like I couldn't speak as I tried to call for help but then I remembered that this was reality. That this is simply a dream and that I need to wake up from this coma. A few moments which felt like months had passed by when I heard a voice. I listened carefully. It was Audrey. I listened to what she was saying carefully.
""Sarah, I'm..I'm sorry for everything. I failed at protecting you but I promise you once you wake up I will never leave again. I will take you with me, keep you safe. Please, you gotta stay with me hun. I love you so much, I cant lose you too. You're the most beautiful girl I have ever met and the most amazing one too. You really make me happy, ask anyone. This is the happiest I have ever been and without you I would be so lost and devistated. Please wake up. I want you marry you one that, I am deeply positive about that baby. Please...please wake up.""
That was the sweetest thing ever. I heard some type of beeping as I think I was heading back to reality. I opened my eyes slowly.
"A....Audrey" I looked to my side to see her by the door. Ahe came in and held my hand.
"It's okay baby, I'm here." She kissed my forehead.
"I heard what you said to me. All of it."
She looked at me surprised. "You did?"
I nodded. "Yeah. It was really sweet." I smiled, making her smile.
"How are you doing? Are you okay? Do you remember what happened?" She asked me.
"Im okay" I paused, searching for the memory.
"I was somewheres with Emma and Eli. Someone had set the house on fire from the outside. He helped us out but I wandered off further then they did. Eli was yelling something at me , to move I think and he was running towards me but as soon as I turned to my right I got hit. Everything happened so fast. I wasn't able to see who the driver was."
Audrey held my hand a little tighter. "I'm just glad you're okay" she said as she gave me a gentle kiss on the forehead.
       I was able to go back home with Audrey a couple hours later. During those couple of hours Emma and Kieran came by with some flowers along with Noah, Zoe, Brooke and...Stavo. Gustavo showed up alone and sent me an email with a normal looking drawling he had drawn of Audrey and I. It was cute honestly and even Audrey thought so which was odd because I didn't think she liked him at all but neither did I.
        The drive home with Audrey was peaceful. None of us really said anything other than her asking over and over if I'm okay and having to repeat myself multiple times that I am. Once we got home she helped me in bed and climbed in with me, cuddling as she held me close to her.
"I love this" i whispered to her.
"I love this too" she whispered back.
I let out a small sigh. "I'm sorry for getting mad at you and all."
"Its okay, I shouldn't of left you. It was stupid on my part and you have every right to be mad at me. And I promise I will never leave again unless you are with me." She leaned in and kissed me which obviously I couldn't resist.
"Okay good" I said smiling to her.
"Hey so, I'm not sure if you will be up for it or not but would you like to go on a date tomorrow.?" Audrey asked me out of nowheres.
"Our first date" I said smiling "yes of course. What will we be doing?"
She thought for a moment.
"Well there's that Carnival tomorrow and I thought you and I could go as a date. Spend some time together and have some fun. Noah is going to be there on a date with Zoe, Kieran is taking Emma and Brooke will definitely be there as she has to do her speech for the Lady of the Lakewood paegent so what do ya say.?
I didn't really need to think about it, I was already excited about the whole thing.
"Yes, I'm down! I can't wait!" I said kissing her deeply and passionately.
"I can't wait either!" I heard her say as she gave me a kiss on the cheek.
"I love you so much Audrey Jensen" I whispered to her, as my eyes were closed and I was ready to fall asleep, my head on her chest.
"I love you so much too Sarah Hill" and with thst we both fell asleep.
