Chapter Six: Trouble is here

                                                      SARAHS P.O.V
        My heart, pounding so hard it could come right out of my chest. I studied my fathers moves closely. He started walking towards me but Audrey stepped in front of me. "Don't you fucking touch her" Audrey spats at him. I grabbed Audreys hand tightly. "Why the hell are you here and how the fuck did you find us." I yell at him. He laughed in my face which pissed me off. I stared at him waiting for his response.
"It wasn't hard to track your mothers phone. Not only that, I wanted to see how my girls are." You could hear the sarcasm in his voice.
"You are so full of shit" he punched me in the face which caused me to fall back. Audrey helped me up and yelled at him "don't you dare fucking touch her again you prick" she held me close. I noticed my mother had disappeared and the next thing I new the police were here. My father got more aggressive and pulled out a knife heading right for Audrey and I. The next thing I knew there were shots fired and I screamed, hugging Audrey as tight as I could. Someone hand grabbed my arm pulling me up. I knew it was one of the officers. I seen my father lying dead on the floor. I didn't feel one bit upset about it.
AUDREYS P.O.V
After the incident I brought Sarah back to my place. She wasn't talkative which I didn't blame her. Once we got home I tucked her into my bed and gave her a kiss on the forehead goodnight. She fell asleep almost instantly. My god did she ever look beautiful when she was asleep. My phone went off making my heart jump a little. I looked at the screen "UNKNOWN". I picked up the phone as I rolled my eyes. Once I left the room I answered the call.
" What the hell do you want"?
"Careful Audrey, wouldn't want another surprise now would ya?"
Anger boiled inside of me.
"What do you want?"
"Now that Sarah is your new toy, have you told her about Piper or should I.?"
I knew exactly what he was talking about. I had brought Piper to Lakewood. I swore I didn't know she was the killer but I couldnt tell anyone about it. It looked really bad for me even though I wasn't involved.
"No please don't "
I could hear his laugh.
"Well you better tell her or I will. Clocks ticking Audrey." With that I hungup. Fuck what was I going to do. I didn't know exactly how to tell her but I don't think she would be as upset as the others would be. Maybe I should tell Noah first, then he will tell me exactly how to tell Sarah. That is a good idea but I'm not going over there tonight. I can't leave Sarah here alone, I am too scared she is going to get hurt or something bad will happen. I just need to protect her and keep her safe. I really love her.
   I climbed in bed and layed next to her. I move a couple strands of hair out of her face before I kissed her soft lips. She was so cute when she was sleeping. I set my alarm so that we could be up for school. I wasn't going to let her go to school if she doesn't want to. That choice is up to her but I set the alarm anywahs just in case she actually wanted to. I wrapped my arms around her and layed my head close to hers and fell asleep.

                                                             SARAHS P.O.V
       I woke up to the sound of an alarm clock going off. Audrey immediately shut it off and pulled me close. "Good morning you beautiful human." I could help but let out a small laugh. "And good morning to you too you hot thing". Did I just seriously say that. Fuck Sarah come one. "You're so cute especially when you say things like that." She leaned in and kissed me quite passionately. Mhmmmm, I ran my fingers through her hair as our kissing became very heated. I bit her lip and she let out a soft moan which only turned me on ever more. She became to feel me up. She started to kiss and bite my neck as her hand slowly made her way in my pants. I slowly pushed her chest gently and she immediately stopped. "I'm sorry, was it too far?" I shook my head. "No no, just I'm not ready yet I'm sorry."
"Oh god don't be sorry babe, I totally understand." She leaned down and kissed my check.
"Would you like to go to school today or bail? I'm fine with either one hun."
I sighed "As much as I hate to say it we should go to school. Only because of the Lady Of The Lake finalists assembly that is going on today and Brooke is a part of it."
She thought for a moment. "Yeah you're right. We gotta support our friends too" I smiled at her, grabbed a bite to eat then out the door we went.
        After lunch classes were making their way to the gym for the assembly. My phone buzzed and I looked down.
Unknown: Enjoy the show.
What? I thought to myself. What does this sicko mean. I looked up and seen Eli heading towards my way. I just stood there as he approached me.
"Hello Sarah" he got a little closer to me "so I was wondering, would you like to go out to dinner with me later?" Before I could answer, which obviously was going to be a no, Audrey came up to us, pushed him out of the way and kissed me. We heard people gasp and whisper but we didn't care. As soon as she pulled away we seen all of our friends standing there looking at us completely shocked, except for Noah of course because I assumed he seen this one coming.
"We are dating" Audrey announced. Noah seemed very happy for us as well as Kieran and Emma. Brooke on the other hand was relieved I think. "About time you two are dating" she gave us a smirk before heading to the gym. Eli immediately backed off and just walked away. He didn't seem upset really, maybe pissed or annoyed which was odd but I didn't give two shits anyways.
         We were seated in the front row. Our row was seated with Kieran, Emma, zoe, Noah, Audrey then I. I watched as they called Brooke up to the stage. I couldn't help but smile. She really looked beautiful, she always did. She's a great friend and I really hope she wins this honestly. She always seemed to of wanted to win Lady Of The Lake and she was very confident that she would win this one.
       I looked at Audrey, she was already looking at me smiling. God I love her and her beautiful smile. She grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to her so she could wrap her arm around me. I hadn't been paying attention to the assembly at all, I kinda just zoned out. My eyes closed as I became very tired. This whole thing was making me sleepy then I remembered the text I had got from the killer earlier. I still didn't know what it meant and I totally forgot to show Audrey. I reached in my pocket and dugged out my phone. Audrey was looking at me with a worried look on her face but I could tell she was curious as to what I was doing or looking for.
"I got a text earlier from...you know...the unknown...well I forgot to show you so." I whispered to her then handed her my phone.
She seemed to of read it a couple times before it clicked in. She handed me her phone.
"There's going to be some type of surprise during the show or after."
"But what kind of surprised Audrey? I am really scared right now. My heart is beating way too fast that I'm scared someone across the room could even hear it,"
She frownwd. "I know babe. I'm right here, you're safe with me."
She pulled me into a hug. I breathed in her scent and hugged her tightly. I closed my eyes not wanting her to let go. All of a sudden we heard screams then Brooke screaming. We pulled away fast and looked at Brooke. She was covered in blood all over, her nice white dress now red stained and colored. There in front of her was Jakes body. I looked at Audrey worriedly, my heart pacing so fast. She gave me a look which I knew she was just as shocked as I was and upset as i was for Brooke and that this was the way she had to find out about Jake. I felt like I was about to faint. I felt sick like I was going to through up. Emma was in shock, Kieran was trying to comfort her, Noah was with Zoe and they looked completely stunned by this all.
      Brooke stood still as if she had been completely frozened. Tears ran down her cheek. She looked at her hands and it immediately frightened her. The next thing I knew I was being separated from Audrey as everyone was in a rush to get into the main lobby. I lost Audrey or I guess we lost each other in the crowd. I was shoved into someone and as I went to apologized I realized it was Eli someone had pushed me into. I just gave him a weird look then turned away but he grabbed me again.
"Let go of me Eli" the anger poured out along with my voice.
"Wait, I wanted to apologize for ealier."
"Save it" I said then turned around to search for Audrey.
        I finally found her, she was with Emma. Everyone was trying to rush out of the building but there were police officers by the door that wouldn't let them go through. One of the officers, who was Stavos father, got everyone to quite down. He looked around the room then in a serious tone he said "I'm putting the school on lockdown."
