Natasha watched and cringed as Rhoan got his ass handed to him time after time. She expected as much but it was still a bit painful to watch.

He still has that stubborn tenacity. She observed, remembering how he would go up against Conrad everytime when they were just learning to control their "gifts", as their father would put it. He would lose to Conrad only to stand up again for more. He had loved his brother but he also viewed him as his rival. Rhoan had some amazing abilities when used properly, but Conrad was the most dangerous, one of a kind. To this day, there was no one with the type of ability Conrad had.

"I can't believe this is Dante. He's fallen so far from what he used to be, hasn't he Risa?" Natasha jumped, startled. She hadn't even heard when he was approaching.

"Father." She turned her attention back to the fight taking place. "Yes, yes he has. I believe he'll ragain his memories though."

"But how long before he does? Thats the problem. We need him if we are to go against him. No, no we wont wait long." He looked at Natasha, "Use the device, it'll be quicker."

"But..it's painful. Forcing him to remember might not be the best option."

"But its what is necessary. The people funding us, helping us to remain hidden, they want Regis dead. He's giving us too much trouble, foiling assassinations, taking out some of our operatives. He's gone too far Risa, wasnt the death of Conrad enough?"

Natasha's head lowered at this, Conrad's death still pained her. She still had dreams about it. Her father held her face in his hands and raised her head. She looked at him, the lines that had invaded his face, publicly displaying his burdens to the world. He looked so old yet he wasnt, he was still fit, it amazed her.

"I know you don't want to cause him pain, I don't either. But it is necessary. It's painful that i have to lose another son, but he's gone mad. You know its true. Let's save him from himself, Risa." He kissed her forehead and walked away. Natasha looked back into the training room in time to see Rhoan flying again, this time right smack into the glass. She flinched and shook her head.

"Okay, thats enough for today." She said over the speaker.

"No! I can still-" Rhoan began, before Natasha stopped him.

"No. You need the rest, ill fill you in afterwards." She said, opening the door so he could leave.

"Until next time, Dante." Shane said, then raising his hands and correcting himself, "Rhoan."

Rhoan adjust himself in the bed, he couldnt sleep. He kept thinking about how his life had changed. At first he thought this had ruined everything, but after seeing what Natasha could do, he was now having second thoughts. Maybe this was what he needed, an adventure of sorts. What a dangerous adventure he found himself on though. A psycho path who killed his "brother" was now after him for God knows what. He was startled when Natasha appeared beside him.

"Boo." She said as he jumped. He smiled and took a deep breath.

"I have to say. That is a terrible misuse of what you can do." He said.

"Yeah? I dont think so. If we're stuck with them, might as well have fun too. You told me that once."

Rhoan smiled and looked down, he didn't have the slightest idea of that. It was sad really. She smiled, she knew he couldn't remember.

"Come with me?" She asked, getting up from the bed and stretching out her hand. He took it and she held out a blindfold from the next hand. "Put this on."

"Why can't I know where I am?" He asked.

"So you can't leave." She returned, tying the blindfold onto his face. They walked by several people who seemed to have no idea that they were even there. When she took off the blindfold a good while after, they were on a pier.

"We couldn't leave the building much but we used to sneak here late at night and just look at the stars. Sometimes you would come here by yourself, said it gave you piece of mind. You always did love the stars." She smiled on her last sentence, reminising about events long gone.

Rhoan saw a young girl, in her teens, sitting in this very spot looking up at the stars. She was so beautiful. He realised then that it was Natasha. He did know her before, it was all true. The sudden realisation that his memories were actually gone hit him hard. Rhoan looked up and took in the serenity of this place, not alot of people came here, judging by the lack of people right now, and that contributed to the beauty of this place. It was a bit lonely, and dark , the stars and the lamp that Natasha carried its only source of light. Thats how he felt right now, lonely, his memories having left him, and Natasha and this place was his only source of light. He wanted his memories back, the ones of her, of the family he once had.

Natasha looked over to him and she looked hurt, "Rhoan. I'm sorry. Tomorrow will be painful for you, its going to be horrible. I'm sorry." She said, a single tear rolling down her cheek. She got up and walked away to sit a good distance behind him, leaving him to wonder about the horrors tomorrow held in store.
