Christopher's POV

All dinner I was craving Audrey. She is so deliciously sweet.

God.

That unexpected kiss was just phenomenal. I haven't felt something when I kissed someone before. Audrey is my first. Sparks flew throughout my entire body.

Wow.

My phone started to vibrate in my pocket. I looked at it and noticed it was Eric, my personal assistant.

I excused myself from the table and answered.

"Hello."

"Big Man. We have a problem." Eric sounded nervous.

"What's the issue?"

Audrey's POV

I looked at Christopher talking on the phone. He kept on pacing back and forth.

Something must be wrong.

He hung up and walked back to the table and sat down. His face had stress written all over it.

"What's the matter?" I whispered to him.

"Um. I'll tell you once we get back. Just finish eating." Something is definitely up.

We were in the room and he still hasn't said much since we got back.

I changed into my pajamas. Then finally he said, "Start packing. I need to get back home. Something came up at the office that I need to handle face to face."

"Um. Okay." I started to pack. This vacation was cut short. "What are you planning to tell the family?"

"I'll leave a note before we leave. Which is an hour."

"An hour?!" Are you kidding me!?

"Yeah they'll be asleep by the time we leave."

I don't think that's a smart move but hey it's his family.

After we got our suitcases ready we headed downstairs and a car was waiting for us outside. It was quite chilly out and I was only wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

"Here." Christopher dug through his suitcase and handed me a big college hoodie. "I notice you have goosebumps all over you."

I put on the hoodie and got in the car. Christopher went back inside to put the note on the table. He came back out and we headed towards the airport.

We were on his private airplane and were headed home. Once we were airborne he told me to get in the bed in the back. In which I instantly fell asleep.

Christopher's POV (Play Song)

"I'll see you in the morning. I will handle her when I get there." I said to Eric.

"I think we all knew she would be back." I heard Eric chuckle through the phone.

"She always finds her way back to me doesn't she."

Audrey's POV

It was late morning when I finally woke up. We got back at 3:00 a.m. The only weird thing was that Christopher was not acting like himself when he dropped me off at my house.

What happened?

I'm probably over thinking this. Yeah that's it.

Well I hope I am.

I wasn't expecting to come back before Friday so I can go to rehearsals today. Sounds like a plan. It always takes my mind off things.

I started to get ready when my phone went off. Christopher?

Nope. Just an alert that I had a rehearsal today.

I hope he calls me. Soon.

It's been over a month and there has been no sign of Christopher ever since the lake vacation.

He hasn't shown up to any shows or hasn't called me, texted or shown up at my house unexpectedly.

I started to think something is wrong but I called his office, well after I found the number online, and called. But all I got was excuses telling me "he's in a meeting", or "he just left", or "he can't come to the phone at the moment".

I am so over these stupid excuses. I have tried to call him on his cellphone but no answer, texted him but again no reply.

I finally realized last night, he is over me. Let it go Audrey.

He had enough of me so he's over it. That's what I get for making him wait for me.

This is why I don't give guys a chance they only want one thing and if they don't get it they wash their hands of you.

I am so sick of being ignored. Sick of it.

At least I am at work and that always takes my mind off things.

I hope he's happy with his stupid self.

"Audrey baby you are up." One of the girls said.

"Okay." Let me do what I do best.

Another successful night at work. Now it has been two months since I last heard of Christopher and I'm glad.

I have finally started to cope without him in my life.

Well I think I am.

Christopher's POV

Everyday I think of Audrey. All day, everyday.

I haven't seen her in what seems like years. Even though it has been only two months. I fucked up big time because of the bitch that decided to come out of the blue.

Gabby.

I was sitting on my office chair just wondering what I did that made her come back. She is like the bubonic plague to my office building. Everything she gets close to she quickly kills.

God she's venomous to my soul.

"Darling, thinking about me?" I heard her disgusting voice. And to think I almost eloped with this girl.

"Yeah. I am. When are you leaving?"

Gabby still hasn't gotten over our break up we had over two years ago. I know she still loves me but I have absolutely no feelings for her whatsoever.

"Oh Chris don't be so dumb. I'll leave when I want to darling."

"When after you try to kill me for my love?!"

"You know I was very sick back in those days darling. They released me from the nut house because I am better." She put her hands on my face and said, "Trust me."

I quickly removed my face from her grasp.

"You have been terrorizing my life for over two months. Now leave."

"I can't leave darling, we haven't discussed something that I know you know." She started to circulate around my chair. Lightly touching me. "That night will always be in the back of our minds. Don't forget that."

I heard her heels clacking across the floor and the door closing behind her.

That night will always be with me no matter what. It's is why she is here and it is why I can't have Audrey in my life.
