Remember guys, this is a new book, and this is probably going to be my best work, I'd like to think I have improved in my writing by reading a lot of books. This chapter is dedicated to 4Dragons. The names mentioned here are real people (Except for a few) and the cast should be up by this chapter's publishing? IDK. Also, for the combat scenes, I don't know if I should write the combat (magic casting) like my other books - Fairy Tail and Mage of Icy Fire - I'll try to make this seem as if this is real life and not a game. Hope you enjoy and thanks for reading! Now sit back, relax, and read the story!

- Flashback -

Arbiter woke to the sound of dripping on the roof of his house. He groaned knowing that he'd have to go to school in about 15 to 20 minutes. But a lazy person like him didn't care much; he would just go back to sleep. He hated school as much as anyone... Well, most people. But now he hated it for a new reason, a reason that he felt that is wrong. He was bothered by this. So he decided to sleep in.

Lucky for him, his dream felt longer than it was. His dreams were absolutely normal for once, - usually, they were strange, once he dreamed that he fell off a cliff by standing still - no, his dreams were recapping the events that had happened just when summer started. Great timing right?

Months ago, a substance from space had swept across Earth and changed everyone's' lives. No one had known this fact until a criminal mastermind in Russia so and so 'accidentally' zapped someone with lightning. People all over the world were powerful now; they did things that were referred to as magic. People were shooting water at incredibly high pressure and velocity; summoning fire and setting things ablaze; sending shafts of light here and there; and other hard-to-believe things.

That day, was when the world became a truly dangerous place. Mankind first found out about this when they started to look for answers. They sent out a drone into the atmosphere and found a shocking discovery, dark clouds that covered the world, invisible to the naked eye. Scientists blamed everything on this and - reluctantly - agreed that people could wield magic as a form of offense, defense, and practically anything dangerous.

But NOOOOOO, that didn't stop the school from teaching kids things. They taught CHILDREN, how to wield magic; that was what bothered Arbiter. But then again, the world was even more dangerous now with people with magic at their finger tips; so it might be good after all. The school still taught you math, social studies, science, language arts. But who cares? They have magic now. Arbiter, who's dreams abruptly turned into a nightmare, was glad to hear his mother call his name to wake him up.

Scrambling out of bed, he thought to himself, I wonder, what is the school like now? Hopefully not as boring as ever... My classmates are all mages now eh? It's like we are in a game now; well we are technically playing the game of life now so.... Thinking back on it, Arbiter closed his eyes for a moment, I'm not going to like this am I? Arbiter thought glumly.

He just really hoped that his sunny home in California would survive whatever crazy stuff happened to the world.

After wolfing down scrambled eggs and brushing his teeth, he called, "Mom! Let's go! C'mon I'm going to be late!" But his mom was already in the garage opening the door of the car and waiting for him to grab his backpack and leave.
