Sirius's P.O.V

As the train pulled to a halt at Hogsmede Station, all the first-years were shoved onto the platform and gestured towards a man, who seemed to be as large as three men piled on top of eachother! He had a great, bushy, black beard and a long, shaggy mane of hair; his hands were as large as dustbin lids and his feet needed at least size 30 shoes. (That's in British shoe sizes by the way). I looked up at him, a mischievous smirk coming to my face, I could have fun with this guy. Pulling Trinity with me, I ran over to introduce myself to this giant of a man.
"Hello, I'm Sirius Black, and this is my sister Trinity. Nice to meet you, you're really big, aren't you," I gabbled at 100 miles an hour, noticing Trinity face-palm next to me,
"Tactless," she muttered under her breath.
I shrugged, I didn't think I was being tactless, I was just stating the obvious, yes, that's what I was doing.
"Oh, it's all right, now yeh've gotta get in one o' them boats, and stay still 'til we reach 'Ogwarts." The man said, before adding as an afterthought: " I'm Hagrid by the way." He said, before shooing us off towards the boats, where everyone else was already boarding.

"Hey, Sirius, Trinity, come over here!" I heard a voice say, looking around I saw James, waving frantically for us to come and fill up his boat.
I grinned and jogged over to James, Trinity close behind me, when we arrived I noticed that there was another boy sat in the boat,
"Hi, I'm Sirius Black, the coolest person you will ever meet, and this is my not quite as cool sister, Trinity." I introduced myself, flicking my hair out of my face to make myself look cool, but judging from Trinity's face, it wasn't working.

Trinity's P.O.V

I mentally face-palmed (again) before smiling at the boy, he had sandy-brown hair and faint scars on his face. He was sort of cute, not that I would care to admit it.
"Hi, I'm Trinity Black, like my brother here so kindly said for me," I said, shooting a death glare at Sirius.
The boy smiled at me, his warm, chocolate brown eyes lighting up slightly.
"Remus Lupin." He said, carefully moving up the boat to make room for us.
I smiled at him, before sitting down and talking animatedly to the three boys I was sat with.

The boat ride was fun, I did most of the talking, I didn't like awkward silences, I mean, why sit in silence when you could be having a fun conversation. Soon, there was a round of 'wows' echoing around the fleet of first-years, I glanced up and was immediately emmersed in the sight I saw before. Hogwarts castle stood proud up against a magical backdrop (pun intended), its turrets reaching the clouds and its stone walls glittering in the evening sunlight. Standing up to get a better look at this wondrous scene, I leaned fowards in anticipation of my new life and ... tripped.
'AAAHHHHHHH!" I screamed, landing with a splash in the smooth, icy water. It was like I was entering a new world, everything was silent and calm around me. I smiled slightly at the murky water, before swimming up to the surface, gasping for air.
"Omg, sis, are you alright?" Sirius asked frantically, reaching down to grab my hand.
I took it gratefully and climbed back into the boat.
"That. Was. Epic." I said, grinning manically.
Everyone laughed happily, and we carried on talking until the boat gently bumped against the edge of the lake.

As we walked into the amazing castle, our faces a picturesque of awestruck wonder, I realised that I was freezing, my teeth chattered uncontrollably and I pulled my arms closer to myself.
"'Ere, you mus' be cold," Hagrid draped his large, moleskin overcoat over my shoulders, and I smiled at him gratefully.
"Thanks, Hagrid," I replied, then watched the giant retreat into the great hall, as all of the first-years fought to get a look at the room ahead of them.

Waiting in anticipation, an nervous silence dawned upon group of 11 year olds. I barely listened to the stern, bespectacled witch - Professor Mcgonagall - as she showed us into the hall. Four tables sat in the hall, each filled with students, who were chattering and laughing, oblivious to the terrified looks on our faces as we walked, legs like jelly, to the front of the hall. Sat horizontally compared to the house tables, a fifth table stood in the hall, this one was filled with teachers, who were all studying each and every first-year carefully, probably trying to seperate the nerds from the troublemakers, in my opinion.

Soon, pale-faced, petrified children were walking, one by one, up to the stool and placing the worn, withered hat on their heads, before joining their houses. I didn't have to wait long, soon Black, Sirius was shouted among us and I shoved my brother forwards. He glared at me and swaggered up to the hat, smirking as it fell over his eyes. It wasn't long before the hat shouted:
"GRYFFINDOR!" And Sirius, still swaggering, took his place in the house of the lion. I gave him a thumbs up and looked back at Mcgonagall, it was my turn.

Sure enough, the next name was Black, Trinity, I took a deep breath and stepped forwards. Some people sniggered, I could hear them whispering that I must've fallen in the lake. Too right I did. As I took a seat on the stool, the sorting hat fell over my eyes and a small voice muttered in my ears.

Hmmm, I see, you come from a long line of Slytherins, but, like your brother, you do not belong there. You have a lot of courage, a quirky personality and will do anything for a loved one. You will go far, Trinity Black.

"GRYFFINDOR!" The hat shouted once again, and I smiled happily.
I shrugged off Hagrid's coat and held it out to him,
"Thanks Harid, but just so you know, something is wriggling in one of your pockets." I informed him, grinning, as his beady, black eyes sparkled warmly.
I set off to the Gryffindor table when Professor Mcgonagall called me:
"Miss Black," I turned round and she waved her wand and I was stone dry.
"Wow! Thanks, Minnie!" I said, smiling cheekily.
She frowned, not questioning how I knew her first name (Minerva) and I skipped to the Gryffindor table while all the other students laughed at my antics.

When Severus had gone to Slytherin and James, Lily and Remus to Gryffindor, the feast began, I had a long night ahead of me.

A/N - So, chapter 2, and Remus is here! Just letting all of you know that I do not own Harry Potter or any of the characters, settings or plotlines. All I own is Trinity. The rest belongs to the amazing JK Rowling!
