James's P.O.V

It wasn't long before me, the boys and Trinity were up to no good. Two weeks into our time at Hogwarts, we all decided that things were running a bit too smoothly for our liking. We had already had an encounter with the Malfoy kid, and we were all good with spells, so why not have a bit of fun?

The whole of Hogwarts was well aware that our gang were going to be the next legends of the school, and Professor Mcgonagall had taken to calling us The Marauders. So we decided to make it official. We would announce our arrival to everyone, with a little help from Malfoy along the way. This would be good.

So this idea was what found us sneaking out under my invisibility cloak, after careful, nearly impossible adventures to find out the location and password to the Slytherin dorms (and a little bit of Trinity getting Lily Evans to ask Snape to tell her). We were all set. Oh, and speaking of Lily Evans, I can't stop thinking about her; her hair, the way her eyes sparkle and, well, everything really. She's perfect.

Anyways, we were outside the stone wall we knew led to the snake pit, and Remus whispered:
"Serpent tongue."
and the wall slid away, revealing a room with a low ceiling, surprisingly uncomfortable-looking chairs and sofas, along with a small table, that was laden with books and parchment, that had no doubt been left by fifth and seventh year students, who had looming exams coming their way this year.
"Well, we all know why the Slytherins are so bitter now." Trinity said into the silence, and we all laughed behind our hands, so as not to wake the snakes themselves.
We then snuck through the carved doors that seemed to lead to the dormitories, Trinity going to the girls side and the rest to the boys.

We all met back in their common room around fifteen minutes later, with childish grins of excitement and anticipation on our faces. We then left the common room and Peter pulled out a book, since he wasn't that bright, that was the only thing we'd trusted him with. We all looked at the book, went to different corners of the Great Hall, and began to put lots of spells around the place. When we were done we looked at each other and grinned once more,
"And think, we did all this with up to second year charms." Sirius pointed out mildly, mischief dancing around behind his eyes and a smirk playing on his lips.
I high-fived him and we all left the Great Hall to go to bed. Our mission was complete.

Trinity's P.O.V

When I had crept back into the dorm, Lily was sat up in bed, looking at the door impatiently. When I stepped into the room her glazed look turned into a glare like one that I had never seen. "Where were you? I've been waiting here for ages!" she exclaimed as she stood up.
"Umm, the library? I suggested, letting an innocent look come across my face.
She glared at me and said:
"Since when did Trinty Black go to the library?"
I sighed,
"You'll see in the morning." I said, before changing into my pyjamas, and going to bed.

When the morning arrived, I couldn't wait to see the reaction of the school when The Marauders were announced officially to the whole of Hogwarts. It was going to be amazing.

Me and Lily got down to the common room quite quickly, but the boys were already there there waiting for us. We grinned at eachother and exchanged looks that only we could understand.
"I'm not even going to ask," Lily said, opening the portrait hole.
We grinned evilly at her and made our way to breakfast - we could get to the Great Hall without getting lost now.

It was around five minutes into our first meal of the day when the first parts of our adventre began to show. A burst of laughter rang through the hall, and we all turned around. Malfoy and his cronies were all standing in the great hall, dyed completely red and gold. Lily turned to face me and said,
"This is what you were doing?"
I just nodded and carried on laughing. Me and the boys all high-fived, getting several looks from lots of other students.

I then stood up and announced to the whole school:
"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, introducing to you all: Lucius Malfoy, Trevor Goyle, Marcus Crabbe, Alfred Greengrass, Narcissa Black and Rosalind Parkinson. Aren't they all looking lovely today? But I'm afraid, as amusing as it is, our lkttle spells will unfortunately be wearing off around midnight tonight. Now, a word from the great walls of Hogwarts on the creators of this wonderful prank."
I sat down and then the voices of all the Marauders rang through the Great Hall, words appearing on the walls.
"We give to you, the next legends of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizadry: James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Trinity Black and Peter Pettigrew. THE  MARAUDERS!"
We had each stood up on the table at the sound of our names, and pulled a cheesy pose. It looked absolutely hilarious, and that was exactly what we wanted.

Basically, if anyone didn't yet know who we were, they sure did now.

A/N - So here it is, another chapter! It's been a while, sorry about that, but I've done it now. Remember, not mine!
