For the past week, Minji had been visiting Yoongi along with Jimin, just so she could get back at him for saying all those horrible comments about her. She was deeply offended and she needed every chance she could get to irritate the young button into saying sorry for his wrong doings. 'Course, Yoongi wasn't going to give in so easily. Ontop of all this, she wanted to see more guy on guy action between her brother and the person he was crushing on, being the Fujoshi she was.
"You're here again?" Yoongi groaned as his worst enemy walked through his bedroom door, along with his most trusted companion. "Didn't I tell you, just yesterday, that I didn't want anything to do with your fat, ugly face?" He broke eye contact with her and carried on reading his book. Exactly five books had been finished by the young button in the course of a week, it seemed he'd always sported a book in his pale hands as he waited for Jimin (and quite recently, his annoying little sister) to accompany him for the rest of the afternoon.
"Yeah, keep reading you spoiled brat." She tailed behind her older brother.
"Minji!" Jimin turned back to her, giving her a questioning, angry look, taking her aback with the terrifying glare in his eye. Minji flinched and looked away before she sent a dirty look to Jimin's vulnerable back.
"One of these days, I'm gonna rip out that weak little heart of yours out of your frail body and bury it under a mound of dirt where your deceased carcass can't find it." She mumbled inaudibly, she hoped.
The young button's ears were as sharp as ever, he sat up, ready to throw a profanity or two at his bride to be. "I heard that you son of a-" Yoongi gritted his teeth together as he gripped the bare covers of his new book, the snow white pages trembling as he shook with anger and frustration.
"OK!" Jimin swooped in once again, preventing another full scale argument to take place in the confines of Yoongi's bedroom. "Can we not with the swears and curses and what not?" He threw his hands in the air after setting down Yoongi's cup of tea, along with the rest of his meal. It seemed Jimin was always hoping the two most precious people in his life would get along, only to have his hopes crushed and wounded by their constant bickering.
"It'll stop when she walks out of here and never comes back." Yoongi collapsed back on his plump mattress.
"Get up hyung, you need to eat." Jimin scurried over to take his book and put it on his night stand. "Hyung! Get up!" He whined and winged as Yoongi loosened himself and put all his weight against the bed, trying hard to give Jimin a difficult time forcing him off his bed chambers. Unlucky for Yoongi, Jimin exercised regularly. Picked Yoongi off his bed on a daily.
"It's not fair." Yoongi moaned, as he was easily placed onto his wheelchair.
"What's not fair?" Jimin asked, his heart racing as he made close eye contact with his master. If not for Yoongi's serious case of oblivion, he would've noticed the younger's tinted red cheeks.
"You can't do this." Yoongi answered. "You can't lift me out of my bed that easily." Yoongi complained.
"I'm sorry hyung." He apologised, aware of the fact that his favourite Min resident was just searching for attention. "Next time, I'll make it less obvious that it's easy to hurl you off your bed, ok?" He looked at him, his eyes holding so much love and affection as he gazed down at him with an unbreakable smile. Yoongi pouted and nodded reluctantly, the pout slowly turning into an equally invincible curve.
Minji tried to conceal how happy she was, Jimin was interacting with Yoongi in a way she'd never seen him act with anyone else. Tried to hide the fact that she was internally screaming for joy. Tried to hide the fact that she almost died when Yoongi pouted. The obvious top was Jimin in this circumstance, but she decided that if Yoongi wasn't so weak, body and soul, he'd definitely top her brother. Jimin was so whipped for this bachelor button, Yoongi would probably be a dominant bottom. (A/N: Can we all relate my fellow fujoshis? XD)
Unfortunately, Minji wasn't very skilled at hiding her emotions. This was how Jimin knew his sister so well, there was always a sign that shouted 'I'm depressed'; there was always a clear enough signal to show when she was excited or overjoyed. She couldn't hide from her older brother, because whenever she tried, he'd know exactly what was up.
This particular time, Minji had flushed cheeks while emitting a slight squeal that was loud enough for Jimin, as well as Yoongi to hear from where they were.
It was simple really, Minji was like a puppy. One minute she could be really hyper and unhindered, the next she'd be down, quiet even. But alas, Yoongi had yet to see this near silenced side of Minji, he didn't know her quite yet. Not like Jimin did.
"I think she's excited." Jimin leaned toward Yoongi in his wheelchair, whispering softly so Minji wouldn't pick up any sound coming from his mouth.
"What makes you say that?" Yoongi whispered back, making the younger boy flinch against (almost) his lips.
"Look at her, she's trembling with flushed cheeks and squealing like a derranged puppy." Jimin explained.
"For real?" The young button felt a shiver run up his spine, creeped out further when Minji started giggling cautiously to herself on the chair she was sitting on. "Eww." Still oblivious to the fact she was exhilarated by the way Jimin and Yoongi were looking at each other. As much as she hated Yoongi, he made Jimin smile with such little ease the way no one else in the entire universe could. She loved her brother, no matter what, she wanted him to be jubilant, even if that meant she stood by the shadows instead of being happy herself. His happiness, was her's.
"So..." Jimin started awkwardly, as he had done for the past week. "What has everyone been doing today?"
"Reading mostly!" Yoongi replied quickly, making sure he was first to answer, over Minji. Their arguments had gotten that petty since they had reunited with one another. And, just like yesterday, Minji would scowl at the young bachellor, challenging him to further interrupt her. Jimin was getting tired of the same scene, replaying day after day. He loved them both and he just wished they could get along, if not for his sake, their own.
"Again?" Jimin's face lit up, if Jimin were a light bulb, Yoongi would've been the light switch, making him light up just by hearing the unique sound of his deep, chocolaty voice. It was a large contrast to Jimin's high, beckoning tone. "How many books have you read this week?"
"Probably the entire Min library," yes, the Mins had a library in the Min residence. Yoongi had read at least two thirds of it by now. "with the many books this kid reads on a daily." She mumbled. Minji leaned on the bottom half of her palm and decided she wasn't going to look at Yoongi for the rest of tea time, and if she could, the rest of her life.
"For your information," Yoongi started, his tone almost snaking around Jimin without mercy. "I like fictional books and the Min library has like one third non fiction, I've probably only read like two thirds of it."
"Smart ass." Minji murmured.
"Dumb ass." Yoongi shot back.
"Short ass-!"
"THESE CONVERSATIONS ARE GETTING REALLY OLD!"
A/N: This story is so interesting to write, you don't understand XD Sorry for the late, crappy chapter, at NCS and I haven't had the time or wifi to update. But see y'all when I next update ♡
