(+) On the 22nd of May 2017, there was a boy band in which shook the world with the sheer talent and determination they brought to the world. The first Korean boy band in the history of the Korean music industry, to have been able to climb so far, that day marked the day Kpop made a dent in the way we look at music and the amount of effort and hard work it takes to climb to the top. The 22nd of May 2017 will forever be embedded into my memory as the day in which these 7 boys made Kpop history. Thank you God for giving me the honour to live in a time in which these amazingly talented boys are also alive, I am so proud to have supported them this far and will carry on supporting them til the day I die. Thank you... I'm so proud to have such amazing boys love me and so many more people. You don't know how much you mean to us, and I wish I could reach out to you on a bigger scale but for now, this should be enough. I love you so much BTS, never change...
Yoongi was calmed to sleep in one of the most expensive hospitals in South Korea. An oxygen mask over his mouth and nose as his mother prayed by his side and held his pale, veiny hands in her own. She didn't know where she'd gone wrong. There wasn't any history in her family that spoke of weak hearted new-borns. No one in her family had been born with a weak heart. Was Yoongi just another sign that neither her, nor her husband were compatible partners? Was their own son just another cruel sign that she and her supposed husband were never meant to have been together? She denied it. Loud as the voice inside her head screamed 'You and Yoonbin are not for each other', she refused to believe that her son was just another factor that contributed to their incompatibility.
"Mmmm..." Yoongi stirred in his sleep, fluttering his eyes open as the light from the ceiling stung his eyes. Antoinette jolted out of her prayerful state and made eye contact with her offspring.
"Yoongi?" she said in a quiet voice, trying not to burden him with the loudness of her voice. "Oh thank goodness you're okay..." she let out a breath of relief, thanking someone out there for listening to her prayers.
"Where am I?" He asked in a raspy, muffled voice. He found it hard to speak due to the dryness of his throat. Screaming and crying so much can do that to you. He felt the sting of his eyes growing more violent as he realised there was a presence absent in the room. "Where's Jimin?" he gasped. "Where is he?!" he tried to sit up hastily but his body was heavier than the pain and regret his mother held in her chest.
"He's outside ma fleur don't worry." She held him down gently, hoping she wasn't hurting him more than she already had, by not being there for him more when he was growing up. She wondered how he even found about puberty and dealt with the constant mood swings when he was approaching his teenage years. "Honey don't sit up it's bad for you, you need to rest for surgery."
"Surgery?!" he tried to raise his voice but it came out as a crack in his throat. "Why on earth would I need surgery?!"
"Yoongi your heart–" she tried to speak but he interrupted her.
"My heart is fine!" he insisted, whimpering as the ache in his chest bloomed and beat at his ribcage. "It's beating fine! Where's Jimin!?" he tried to hurl the covers off his body and stand to find his lover, afraid he might have already gone through with the surgery, afraid maybe he didn't have a chance to change their fate before it was too late.
"Honey stay down!" she pleaded. "You need to stay calm, Jimin is fine!" she grabbed his icy wrists and tried to hold him down.
"You don't understand!" he cried, tears spilling out of his tear ducts. "He's the reason I'm alive today!" Yoongi flailed his feeble arms to try and break away from his Mother's iron grasp.
"Yes, and he is the reason you will keep on living!" she volumized her voice a little, trying to dominate over her son. Seemed not to work as he carried on fighting her.
"I wanted to die so badly, I felt so alone and he was the only one I was worried about leaving behind because he was the only person who was by my side when even my own parents refused to even slip a text message when I was left alone at that damn mansion!" Yoongi bawled out, breaking away from her grip and silencing her demands for him to stay down. "When you were both too absorbed in your own lives to care about your own child, he was the one I could lean on when I needed someone to lean on... he was the only one there when I needed him... so please..." he begged, gripping onto his mother's blouse and burying his tear stained face in the material. She cringed as she felt the wetness touch her tailor-made dress shirt. "...please leave him be... I don't care what happens to me... just make sure he's ok..."

Jimin was sat in the waiting room once again, hoping to see his beloved before he went into the operation room to fulfil his fate. He hoped he could feel the coldness of his embrace or even engulf the elder boy in his chest this time. Yoongi had never been warm; Jimin wondered if Yoongi was a vampire when they were children, he was always so cold to the touch when his hands were over the covers. Yoongi didn't like going out either so that didn't help his case. Still, if it was the White Bachelor Button's arms he was surrounded by, he wasn't going to complain if the person he was last embraced by was Yoongi.
He hoped that maybe he would have the courage to go through with it, hoped he would be remembered by all the people in the Min household, even if he was just the keeper of his master's organs... what Jimin failed to remember was that he was also the possessor of Yoongi's coronary organ. I don't mean that literally, I mean that Yoongi had never loved someone so much. Weak as he was, he found the immovable strength within himself to love someone he was never even supposed to love like he did. He found the strength to love someone he knew he was going to lose... from the start it was going to end like this. They just somehow wished in the back of their minds that someone, somewhere out there would be kind enough to change their fates... but life isn't rainbows and sunshine all the time.
"Jimin." a deep, monotone voice called out to him. Jimin recognised the voice instantly, it was the voice that belonged to the person he called...
"Father..." He looked up, meeting with the eyes of not just one, but two men standing at the end of the hall. They approached him as he stood to his feet, his expression dropping as he came to the realisation, Master Min had paid a visit only when his son was confined in a hospital. In a way, Jimin held a grudge against Min Yoonbin. The master of the household was someone who had changed during the years and it felt as if he had abandoned not only his wife, but his weakened son. His heart had grown dark over the years and Jimin suspected it was because Yoongi had been born weak, born with an illness he had no fault in having.
"It's nice to see you son." Master Min said with a smile. Jimin only glared at his attempt in being optimistic about that day.
"Let's not lie." Jimin muttered under his breath, a smirk pulling at the corners of his mouth.
"Park Jimin." His father raised a hand to combat his son's unusually rude mouth, but Master Park raised his own to stop him.
"There'll be no need for that Jiho." He carried on his smiley façade. "The kid's going to die in a bit, so he has the excuse to act this way, leave him be." As Jimin suspected, the highest power in the Min household had been stripped of kind heart he was born with. How ironic.
"Do you know what you must do?" Jiho asked without much hesitation. Jimin nodded slowly, knowing his purpose in life was about to be fulfilled.
As if a family reunion was being put into play, Antoinette emerged from Yoongi's hospital room. She looked gaunt, like she hadn't slept in days as she raised her eyes from the ground to meet not her husband's eyes, but Jimin's. "Yoongi wishes to see you, Park..."
