The rains invaded my skies today,
They washed the leaves and took their dirt away.
But when I looked around I couldn't find you, everything was dark,
The skies were inky black, there was no spark.
With a shivering self I moved, I wanted your presence right now,
You were no where, we separated, I don't know how.
I longed for your touch, the soft loving feel of your hand,
I felt like a drop in the ocean struggling to find rest on the sand.
I had never seen such darkness, I felt almost blind,
Now do you know your importance in my life? Without you, I'm a lost soul which I cannot find.
