I saw her today, eyes all red,
Unable to stop, a heart which no one could mend.
She seemed broken, afraid to take a step,
Afraid of heights, afraid of depths.
She felt like a dandelion, lost, swaying in the air,
She didn't know what to do, a person so beyond repair.
I extended my hand for her but I touched the glass instead,
And just then realisation struck my head.
It was me, so weak, so forlorn,
So delirious, rejecting my pros and counting my cons.
