Chapter 7. Hospital

I awoke in the hospital, I opened my eyes to see that I was laying in a hospital bed, covered with two thick cotten blanket's and some regular bed sheet's. I had a tube stuck in my arm giving me fluid's and a tube going into my nose. The room was small, white, and square. One end of the room had a big green curtain that hung from the ceiling to the floor. I looked around to see that I was alone, I pushed the big red button with the doctor's symbol on it and got no response. I then yelled out for someone to hear me, and still no response.

"Hello???" I asked again.

"????????"

I was still a little delusional from all the medicine I had to take, so I started to hyperventilate, thinking that I was probably the last one in the hospital like Rick from The Walking Dead.

(Yes I watch too much tv lol)

I pulled the tubes from my nose and arm as I struggled to get out of bed and up on my feet. When I finally stood up, a horrible pain in my leg arose, making me fall to the ground.

"Awwwwwwwe, help, help me.. please!" I said

I crawled over to the counter and tried to pull myself up, but I just couldn't, so I closed my eye's and slowly slouched back down to the cold hard floor.

I had been laying on the floor for about fifteen minutes when I heard the door to my room gently open.

"Hello, please help me.." I asked.

"Caylin?" Someone said with a tone of happinesiness

It was Morgan......he pulled back the green curtain to see me laying on the floor and he gasped.

Rushing to the floor to help me up, he said,

"Caylin! Baby what are you doing on the floor!?"

"I couldn't get any nurse's to come, so I was going to go and get one. When I stood up I had a sharp pain in my leg, it hurt so much that I fell," I said.

"Why didn't you just push the nurse button?" asked Morgan while he picked me up from the ground and sat me back down on the bed.

"I did......I thought you had left me...." I said as a tear's foarmed in my eye's.

".....You thought I had left you?...No, Baby I would never leave you," Morgan said with a reasuring smile as he kissed my forehead.

I flashed a smile and hugged Morgan while still lightly crying.

"I was so scared, Wonder if he comes back for revenge, what im I supposed to do..?" I said with a shocked look.

"Yeah, do you want to tell me what exactly happened? Who are you talking about?" asked Morgan.

After I got off the phone with you, a park ranger pulled up and asked if I needed any help, I told him that I had you coming to help me. He still wanted to check what was wrong with my jeep, so I let him look at it and whatever was wrong with it, he couldn't fix because he didn't have his tools with him. He was about to leave when this horrbile storm blew up,

my jeep top blew off and I had no shelter, so he said I could come back to his house, that way I would have somewhere to stay and- (I was interrupted.)

"Caylin, you got in the truck with him?" asked Morgan.

"I would have never. It, the.. The rain was just too strong, I knew I shouldn't have I just.." I said with a shameful look on my face.

"Then what?" asked Morgan.

"He took me back to his house, and by then I was starting to get bad vibes from him, so I already wanted to go back. Once we got there I told him to take me back because the rain had almost stopped, and he told me that the rain would be back and that I should still come inside, then he put his hand on mine, that's when I knew he was a wierdo. I pulled my hand away, then he got of the truck and I saw that he was carrying a gun. So I wouldn't let him back in the truck, and thats what made him mad. He threw a rock through the window and started to pull me out, but I kicked him making him let go of me. Then I ran into his house and hid for a second, once he was where I could get away I ran for his truck, thats when he shot my leg. I almost didn't get away but I was lucky." I said.
