You may have been able to tell from the 'I see something gross' look on her face, this is Tiffany! Why is she in the beginning of this chapter? I guess you'll just have to find out. The answer to the cliffhangers I've been so joyfully putting at the end of the two past chapters is in this very chapter.

Alex and I walked down the sidewalk for about ten minutes chatting contentedly until Alex stopped, looked me right in the eyes and said:
"Ok 'Lil Dove stop putting this off, why did you ignore me all break?" He asked.
I sighed.
"We may as well find a bench, because you'll need to sit down." I said.
"How about we go to Angel Meadows? Its nice up there." Alex suggested.
Angel Meadows is, like, the most romantic spot in town.
Not that it matters... or anything.
"Sure! I'll text my mom telling her I'll be later than expected." I said, taking out my phone.
I sent my mom the text, put my phone away, and looked at Alex.
"Shall we?" I asked, gesturing in the direction of Angel Meadows.
"Sure." Alex said smiling.
We walked up the sidewalk and crossed the street in silence. As we made our way down the path to the meadow, Alex started chattering about how beautiful the snow made everything look. Secretly, I wasn't listening. I was savoring every step we took together, how the weak winter sunshine made Alex's hazel brown eyes shine, the sound of his voice as it pierced the silence.
"Here's a bench!" Alex said, breaking into my thoughts.
"Oh um, yes!" I said stupidly.
Alex raised his eyebrows.
"You weren't really listening, were you?" He asked.
Dang he's good.
"Yea." I admitted, feeling a bit ashamed.
"Its okay. I can see that something is bothering you." Alex said, sounding concerned.
We both sat down on the rickety wooden bench and started at each other expectantly.
"The reason I didn't hang out with you over break is because Avery committed suicide." I blurted out.
Alex's eyes got huge.
"WHAT?!" He yelled. "Why didn't you say something to me earlier?" He added, harshly.
I started to cry.
I don't know how it happened. A huge swelling of emotions that had been growing inside of me all day broke, and came out in huge, gasping sobs. I covered my face with my hands, embarrassed.
Alex looked startled at my outburst.
"Im so sorry Stephanie." He said softly, putting his arms around me.
