Lexi and I took a bath after we got to my room. Then she started bringing out books from one of the shelves in my room. They were all based on mythology and mostly about werewolves.

"So we need to find out why those Rogues were after you". Lexi stated. "And we can't ask mom and dad without letting them know".

"Okay", I answered," so we just get answers from books written by people who don't actually believe what they're writing. Good idea". Sarcasm lacing the statement.

"But it seems like the best option right now" Lexi groaned.

I knew it wasn't. Even thought I had only been a werewolf only a couple of days, I had my connections- supernatural connections. "Not really", I answered, "I know someone who could get us answers. "

"Someone you trust? ". She asked with a questioning look.

"Well he did try to help me get away from Luke's patrol....... so yeah". I answered. I knew the Omega I met would be able to help. Even if it was a teeny bit of information. It would do better than the books Lexi hoped to use.

Lexi opened my window and leaned out. "Wait! What are you doing? " I asked.

She looked at me like I was joking,"To go find your friend of course".

"Now? " I asked unsure it was a good time.

Crossing her arms across her chest she answered, "Or it would be better tomorrow morning when everyone would see an oversized wolf in the woods. Yep, it would be much better". Sarcasm.

She had a point. Plus it would be morning and I didn't know how he looked like in human form. I walked past Lexi and jumped out the window. I heard a thud shortly behind me and I starting running deep into the woods with Lexi behind. I wasn't sure of the way to school through the woods and I merely took guess turns.

You're gonna get list if you keep doing that. Drex's voice came.

Any better ideas? I asked.

Actually, yes. Use your nose!. He said snidely.

Huh?

Your sense if smell, you idiot! Find your scent and trace it back to school. He answered rudely. Drex was being quite rude and didn't sound like himself. There was a hint of pride and laziness to his voice. Weirder, it had a British accent.

I sniffed the air and caught a whiff if the perfume I used this morning and trailed it to school. We got to the woods behind the school's compound and I started howling. Again.

Lexi joined in and soon there was a reply. Another howl. It sounded questioning. I howled back trying to tell it we were friends and we came in peace.

There was a ruffling among the bushes and soon I spotted the familiar brown fur.

"Good to see you in one piece", there was a grin in his voice.

"Good to see you too", I replied.

He looks at Lexi and back at me, "Never told me you had a twin".

"Well I was pretty much trying to figure this go out back then,so it never crossed my mibd". I shrugged

"She's beautiful", he said.

"Thank you". Lexi answers and glares at me. I smiled, forgetting that we were linked and she could hear everything that went through my mind.

"Sorry". I said.

I looked back at the Omega and opened my mouth to tell him why we were there.

"You want to find out why the first shift of a werewolf is dangerous to a family and why those Rogues were after you".

I nodded.

"The only reason I can come up with is merely based in legend and long history and it's the family's duty the child be told of what he or she is".

"So you're telling us if this assumption if yours is quite correct, you can't tell us? " Lexi asked.

"Yep". The Omega answered.

"Oh great", Lexi sounded downcast. Then looking at me, "You said he could tell us".

"Yes, he could", I answered, "but he just can't ".

"I'm sorry guys, but it is not my place to tell, assuming I'm correct". He looks at the sky and back at us, "You should get going. It's getting late". He turns and starts walking away.

"Thanks". Lexi and I said in unison and turned to go.

"I might not be able to tell you what you want, but, I can tell you this; Be strong, don't stop fighting, the danger isn't far. Farewell".

Lexi and I glance at each other with a grim look on our faces. The danger isn't far. For the love of things peaceful. He shouldn't have said that.
