Keres' eyes opened slowly and her vision slowly went from blurred to clear. She felt the cold cement floor beneath her. It was dark and cold, Keres sat up and looked around. Only a bit of light shown through the window and she spotted her dad's arm in the light. She crawled over to him and felt for his shoulder and shook him. "Dad, wake up!" Keres whispered as she shook him. He groaned after a few minutes of being shaken. He rolled over onto his back and sat up slowly. "what happened, were are we" the man said, rubbing his head. Just then he heard screaming coming from outside. both of their heads turned and looked at the window. "whats going on?" her father demanded. "I don't know" Keres said then stood up, her legs wobbling but wobbled over to the window. when she got to the wall she jumped and grabbed onto the window ledge, hoisting herself up. It took all of her strength but she finally looked over the ledge. She only saw fire, people running around, but everything else was too dark to see. Keres let go and almost landed correctly but her legs were too weak and she landed on her back, head first.
Keres woke up once again but was being carried. Keres rubbed her eyes and looked up at who was carrying her. she gazed up to find her father. "d-dad?" Keres wheezed, out of breath and her mouth is dry. "Sh..we re going home" her father reassured, keeping his head and face straight forward. "what's happening?" Keres asked tiredly but she received no answer. Keres looked over to her other side and saw trees on fire, bodies everywhere but with people running and screaming. Keres struggled to get out of her fathers grip, using all of her strength. her father was weak as well, trying to keep her in his grip but he did not have the strength to so he finally put her down. Keres stood on her two feet and started stumbling, walking away from him. "where are you going?!" her father called after her. Keres stopped and turned, looking at him. "I'm going to look, for Tyson" Keres said out of exhaustion. "We do not have time for that!" her father said furiously. "you had time for me! I'm going to find Tyson, make sure he's ok, then I'm going to stop Luke!" Keres yelled back over the screams and the fire sounds. her fathers face lightened, and stared at her in amazement. "I love him dad...you can't change that" Keres said then turned around and started wobbling away. "I will find you Tyson..and when I do, I'm going to frikken kiss you until your sick of it."
