"I'm not going to let you do this!" Tyson furiously exclaimed.
Percy just stared at him. He has never seen Tyson so mad or so demanding in his entire life. Er, at least for as long as he's known him.
"I have to. Either face Luke and stop him, or let him kill the entire planet and die anyway" Keres protested right back.
"What if you die?! I'm not losing you!"
"At least I died trying!"
Everyone in the room backed up. The more Tyson and Keres talked, the louder their tones got.
" I understand that you don't want me to die, I get that Ty. But I need to try, or we'll both die anyway" Keres said, trying to soften her tone.
Tyson shook his head and walked over to the wall, putting both of his arms flat on the wall and looked down at the ground.
"Why can't you just leave it to the gods and goddesses" Tyson asked softly.
"They're dying. And a single touch to Luke is instant death" Keres explained.
There was no response from Tyson.
"So that's it then. I'm going out into battle and your angry at me for wanting to stop the only villain?! Which no one else can touch but me?!" Keres yelled at Tyson.
Still, not a word from him.
Tears formed in Keres' eyes but she held them back.
"Fine" Keres said coldly then turned on her heel, and walked right out.
Tyson flinched as the door slammed shut behind her. tears forming in his eyes as well. But like hell he's crying in front of them.
Percy, Annabeth and Grover looked at Tyson. Tyson moved his arms away from the wall and turned so his back is to all three of them. Screams and chaos can still be heard from outside.
"Tyson.." Percy began.
"Percy just don't ok?! Just don't" Tyson demanded, glaring at him.
Percy looked down at the ground then away. Tyson grabbed his hair with both hands and went up the stairs without a word.
