Im alone now. Nothing left of my life was in sight. My fate were only seconds away. The reapers were all aiming at me. I stand in front of the battalion of men. "Smart Move." The leader says. "Well make it quick." He says laughing.

"Doubt it." I say. All the men have confused looks on there faces. Everything goes in slow motion. I quickly reach for my pistol in the side of my pants and aim at the men. "BAM!" "BAM!" "BAM!" "BAM!" "BAM!" I killed 5 of them. They open fire. Bullet after bullet travels through me. I fall to the floor. "Shit! They're dead sir!" One of them say. "Alright! Lets go guys! The leader says.

I lay on the hospital floor, loosing site, watching my blood form a pool around me. "I'm dead." I say to myself right before I lost consciousness. I see nothing but darkness. I see pitch black all around me. I can hear the wind blowing very hard and feel the snow pounding against my face. "Whoosh!" A fire lights up in front of me. I look across the fire to see Lucy, and Molly. "No." I say. This isn't real.

How is she here? She was a black out! She was dead! There's no way. She's dead! "I'm dreaming, I have to be!" I say to myself. I focus on Lucy. Molly was sitting next her, smiling. Lucy had a bundle of warn out blankets in her arms. Angel was no were in site. Molly was looking at the bundle of blankets. I take a step forward. The sound of my boot crunching in the snow alerts molly of my presence.

I stand still. She gets up and approaches me. I'm frozen in place. I'm stunned. She was looking normal. She gets right in front of me. She smiles. Then, she hugs me. I'm still stunned. I begin to cry. She's not dead! She's ok! Were all a family!

A blizzard begins to start up. My dream instantly turns in to a nightmare when she pushes me on the ground. She turns in to a blackout once more and begins to bite at me.

I rise to my feet and pull out my gun. By the time my gun was out, she had already bit me on my neck. I fall to the floor and pass out. I wake up on the lobby floor. I'm in a pool of my own blood. "How...am I alive?" I ask myself. I attempted to get on my feet but was instantly put back on the ground by the unbearable pain. I begin to crawl to the desk were me and Lucy were hiding. I finally make it. I see I had left a trail of blood from where I was crawling.

I was on deaths doorstep. the grim reaper was putting his hand out to me. offering me a way out of this hell we call the world. fortunately, I had other plans. I have people that count on me. ill be damned if I get bested by a few rats that think they can do as they please just because they wave fancy guns around. "maybe another time, Mr. Reaper." I say in an almost cheered voice.

I crawl behind the desk and reach for my bag. I take out my med kit. I begin to stitch myself up. I then covered the stitches with bandages. I lay down and rest my head on my bag until I have enough energy to stand. I get up and look around. I see Lucy had left her cyan colored scarf here during her escape. I put that over my face. My eyes were the only visible part of my face.

I look in my back pack and notice my map was missing. "She must have gone to my house." I say to my self. I rack up my strength and begin traveling to my home. I memorized the map so I've got a really good idea of were I'm going. I begin traveling down a large snow covered road. I travel for hours until I reach the entrance of the creek. It was getting dark and I was extremely weak.

I see a restaurant by the river. I walk up in front of it. "The Rivers Tide" The sign reads. I break the front window and unlock the door. When I enter, I see the restaurant had been abandoned for years. I know that people vanished, but you would think someone would use this for shelter. I clear the restaurant of any threats.

After the coast was clear, I begin making my bed. I grab some dirty clothes out of my bag and put them on the floor. I then take the wooden tables and prop the tables up on the Windows so the Windows would take a beating if someone would try to break in. I lay down on my make shift bed. I lay my pistol beside me, just in case.

I soon fall asleep. I dream of being together with Lucy. Being a family.
I'm awoken to black outs screeching. I grab my pistol and look around. "BANG!" I hear coming from the kitchen door. "Idiot! I didn't check the kitchen." I say to myself. The door continues to be banged on. I ready my weapon. The hinges get knocked out of the door. "BANG!"

The door falls. I wait for something to rise from the darkness. I see 7 glowing yellow eyes. "RUUUUAAAAAAAAH!" A roar so loud, it shook the foundation of the restaurant. I aim at the eyes. Finally, a 4 armed blackout rises from the shadows.

He is buff as hell. He begins charging me. I dodge and roll to the left. I get up and aim at the beast. I fire at his head. "BAM!" "BAM!" "BAM!" I shoot him in the head 3 times and it didn't even phase him. There's a machete jabbed in to a table. It had a brown leather handle with a stainless steel blade. I pull it out and get ready.

He turns around and charges at me again. I prepare to dodge. I dodge just as he passes me. I feel the swift breeze as he passes. I rise up and slash the beast down the back. It was a really deep cut. He stops. He turns and screeches. The screech was so loud, my ears began to bleed. My vision went fuzzy. He quits. He then focused on me. He punches me with all his might.

The force of the blow was so great, I flew through a window and landed on the windshield of a truck. The alarm to the truck goes off. I hear the screeches of multiple blackouts in the distance. I get up as fast as I can, and I run. I run to the entrance of the Creek. I run down there and don't stop. I must have been running for at least an hour. By the time I stopped, I was already half way to my house.

My adrenaline was wearing off. I was succumbing to exhaustion. I realized that I was bleeding. I had ripped my stitching. I didn't have anything to cover it or stop it. I kept going until I hit a elementary school. This school is on the same road as my home. I observed the school. It had a big field with a black top. It had some sort of weird pole with a board, ring, and what looked to be a net.

It also had a play ground with red, orange, and black colors. It was monkey bars, slides, and some swings. It made me feel depressed for some reason. I continue up the road. There are so many houses, but I finally spot my house. I walk up to its drive way. I could see lights illuminating from inside.

I begin to approach the house before I was stopped by a voice. "Don't you come any closer! Ill shoot you!" A voice says. I slowly turn around. "Who are you?" The voice said. It was Lucy. She had a pistol aimed right at me. "Well that's kind of rude." I say as I begin to take off the scarf. She immediately drops the gun and runs towards me. She hugged me and started crying. "Oh god Winter! Oh Thank god your alive!" She said while crying. "Its gonna take more than that to off me." I say. Lucy backs away and looks at her hands in horror.

Her hands were covered in blood. I realized that I've been bleeding all this time. I fall to the snow covered ground and pass out. I had no idea when I awoke, I would discover The Icy Truth.
