Levi's POV

It's been two years already, and (f/n) still hasn't woken up yet.

I felt empty and broken without her here. Shitty glasses keeps reassuring me that she'll wake up soon, but I'm starting to lose hope.

I never even forgave Petra, how could I after what she did? She obviously went insane to do such a thing to my fragile little (f/n).

Every night I would sit in her infirmary room, in hope she would awaken. I also slept in the infirmary room, on a chair next to her bed.

She was okay now, all she just needs to do, is wake up from her coma.

It just became a new year a few months ago, it was now 850. If she doesn't wake up for another four months, it'll officially be three years since I've last seen her.

Hanji came in earlier and talked to me about her Titan shifting power, and the healing process.

She said something must've happened for her to take even longer to heal. It should've only taken her about a week, at most. But clearly, it's been longer.

Right now, I just sat down next to (f/n) and held her hand in mine. Quietly sighing to myself, I closed my eyes to rest a little.

It was after midnight, so I could definitely use some down time.

Not even ten minutes later, I started to hear some stirring around.

Opening one eye, I saw the hand that I was holding, start to twitch.

"(F/n)...?" I whispered, furrowing my brows at her.

Soon enough, her eyes fluttered open.

"Oh my...-(f/n)!" I shouted, not giving a care in the world.

She must have not been able to see that well since her eyes were squinted and moving all over the place.

"(F/n), can you hear me?" I asked, tears already brimming my eyes.

A slight and subtle nod of her head was her only reply.

Sitting back down and coving my eyes, I let the tears spill out as my grip on her hand got tighter.

My shoulders were shaking from my sobs. I honestly didn't give a fucking shit that I was crying, I was just glad that she was finally back.

Wiping away some of the tears, I looked back at her and couldn't help the smile on my face grow even wider.

"(F-f/n), can you see now? Are you okay?"

Another small nod was received.

I stood up and leaned over, and kissed her forehead.

When I pulled away, she continued to stay silent and slowly look around everywhere. She must be confused.

"Do you remember what happened?"

She didn't respond for a moment, but she soon gave a nod.

"Can you talk? Please tell me you can talk..." I started to get nervous and worried that something might be wrong with her voice.

She weakly lifted up a hand, and put it over her neck. What was she trying to say?

"(F/n), what is it? Do you need Hanji?"

She shook her head "no", thank the walls. But then it hit me.

"Oh! Are you thirsty?"

She nodded.

"Okay, I'll be right back then."

I walked out into the hallway and made my way down to the mess hall to get her a glass of water.
