Third Person POV
Petra was making her way down the hallway, heading for captain Levi's office.
She's still not awake, so this is the perfect time to do it!
As she approached his door, she took a deep breath and prepared herself.
"It's okay, Petra...you can do this. You're only telling him how you feel." She whispered to herself.
Bringing up her fist, she lightly knocked against his door.
"Name and business?"
Was all that was heard from the other side.
"Cadet Ral, here to speak with you privately, sir." Petra answered.
"Come in."
Petra walked inside, shutting the door behind her. She strode over to a chair, across from his desk, and sat down.
"What did you want to discuss?" Levi asked, not looking up from his paperwork.
"W-well..., I um..." She stuttered, blushing.
"You're wasting my time." Levi said with annoyance laced in his voice.
"Sorry, It's just,"
Petra reached her arms out and placed her hands under his jaw, tilting his head up so he would look her in the eye.
Levi's eyebrows furrowed even more, looking like he was getting more pissed off every second.
"I-I...love you, captain."
She blushed madly, hiding her face.
"I love you so much, a-and I wanna be with you for the rest of my life..."
She added, behind her hands.
Levi's eyes were wide with shock, he was screwed!
"Petra..." Levi sighed, rubbing his temple.
Petra brought her hands down, and looked back up at Levi.
"Y-yes, captain?" She quietly asked.
"You know we can't be together,"
Petra gave a sad expression, looking down at the floor now.
"I'm your captain and you're my cadet. That would be inappropriate-"
"Oh really? But it's not inappropriate that you're with (f/n)?! What difference does it make? She's your cadet and you're her captain as well!" Petra shouted, anger boiling inside of her.
"Cadet Ral, please lower your voice." Levi threatened in a low tone.
"Captain...can you please tell me why you love (f/n)?" Petra whispered?
Levi shifted in his seat, not wanting to discuss this anymore.
"Because, she's my best friend. And I've loved her since we were kids. I never stopped loving her, even when she left me." He bluntly answered.
Tears wanted to spill out of her eyes, but she held them in to the best of her ability.
"Cadet Ral, I don't want to hear you speak of this subject again. Is that clear?" He said after a moment of silence.
"Yes, captain." She whispered, getting up and saluting.
As she walked out of his office, tears started pouring out of her eyes as she ran back to her room.
