18- Wake Up

Hanji's POV

(F/n)'s ring...it's back? But how?!

I quickly ran out the door to find Levi.

Once I made it to his office, I ran right in.

"Shorty, (f/n)'s ring...it's back!" I panted.

"What are you talking about?" He looked up at me with a confused look.

"I mean, I went to go check on (f/n) and her ring was just on her finger!"

Levi's POV

Shit...it's been four days now and I'm getting really scared that (f/n) won't wake up.

I would always be in the infirmary room with her, but Hanji would make me leave so I could do my paperwork.

God, I was so worried for her. What's even going on inside of her head?

"(F/n)...(f/n) please, wake up...I need you...I'm hurting without you here...I need to hear your voice again. (F/n) wake up, please! (F/n)!"

I felt my eyes start to burn up, and I realized it was tears. I looked up at the ceiling and held them back, holding her hand tighter.

"(F/n)...please..." I whispered.

Soon enough, I heard the door open. Looking away, I made sure my eyes were dry before I made contact with whoever came in.

"She's still not awake?"

It was shitty-glasses.

"No...are you sure she's going to wake up?" I asked.

"Oh...Levi...were you crying?" Hanji asked with a look of pity.

"I wasn't. Now answer my question." I snapped, shifting my gaze back over to (f/n).

"I'm sorry Levi, but I don't know when she'll wake up. Don't worry, I'm sure she'll wake up soon though." She smiled, coming over to me and gave me a hug from behind.

What was weird, was that I didn't push her away. I guess I just really needed some reassurance.

"Come on Levi, we should let her be and maybe she'll wake up later." Hanji said when she pulled away. I nodded in agreement and followed her out of the infirmary room.

(F/n)'s POV

"(F/n)...(f/n) please, wake up...I need you...I'm hurting without you here...I need to hear your voice again. (F/n) wake up, please! (F/n)!"

I heard everything around me, all of a sudden. The last thing I heard was Hanji telling Levi that they should leave.

I couldn't open my eyes though, and let them know that I was okay. I couldn't do anything.

All I could do was listen.

Time Skip

Out of nowhere, I felt myself twitch a little. I started twitching some more until I started breathing heavily.

I finally opened my eyes as a gasp escaped, and I inhaled deeply. "L-Levi..." I whispered, sitting up.
